L'Auberge Du Lac St-Pierre

No mention on website or reviews that there was no elevator & room might be on 3rd floor. When I checked in, reservation was non-refundable, I found out our room was on 3rd floor. When explained I have bad knees & husband over 80, was told no other room available. Husband drug bags to room in 2 trips. I only went up the stairs when time to go to bed. Beautiful setting & wonderful chef.

Room was on 3rd floor & no elevator. Was not informed this prior to making reservation online.

The Auberge is an exceptionally attractive facility imaginatively planned and architecturally interesting. Our room had a generous balcony (shared with the room next door). Everything was first-rate, and the personnel were exceptionally helpful. Plenty of convenient, on-property parking and short walk down to the edge of the large lake.

Our itinerary allowed us to spend only a Sunday night there, which meant that the restaurant was not available to us for dinner that evening or for breakfast the next morning. That was too bad, since the kitchen has a nice reputation. But we knew in advance that would be the case. The boxed breakfast was more than adequate. We were a little disappointed that our balcony looked out on the parking lot rather than the lake!

The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a long day of driving. The grounds are beautiful and we were pleased that there were charging stations available to plug in our hybrid. The receptionist was very accommodating and he recommended a great place to eat close to the inn as the restaurant on the premises was closed that day. We plan to make regular stops there on our way to and from Ontario.

Unfortunately we couldn't experience the restaurant as it was closed during our stay. The grounds have a terrific scenic view and was just so serene. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

There was nothing really within walking distance such as other restaurants, etc. But if you have a car there are some nice independently owned restaurants and shops nearby that are easy to get to.

NO RESTAURANT SERVICES AVAILABLE AT TIME OF STAY. VIEW OF THE ST. LAWRENCE RIVER AT SUNSET WAS FABULOUS OUTSIDE WHEN ON THE BALCONY BED WAS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE, SHOWER WAS LARGE AND ROOM WAS CLEAN!

NO ELEVATOR TO BRING SUITCASES UP TO SECOND FLOOR ROOM AND THIS WAS A MODERN INN! WOMAN IN ROOM NEXT TO OURS SMOKED ON THE ADJOINING, SHARED OUTSIDE BALCONY WHICH WAS NOT PLEASANT WHEN WE OPENED THE DOOR TO FIND HER-CIGARETTE SMELL TRAVELED INTO OUR ROOM

Outdoor swimming pool and hot tub were great, tho the hot tub's jets were in need of repair. The pool water was heated just right! Our second floor room was very spacious, with a beautiful big corner window and a shared balcony overlooking the pool and the St. Lawrence River. The bathroom was dated but adequate. WiFi and refrigerator were in good working order. The hotel's grounds are nice, but the building itself needs some TLC to eliminate it's tired look. Electric vehicle destination charging stations are provided and worked well.

The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. Makes me feel like I need to change my firm mattress at home. The patio view is worth taking in. The pool is a modest size but does what it needed to cool off on the 32 deg Celsius day.

No elevator. I would have asked for a ground floor had I known.

Nice terrace area where we had a light dinner. Room was spacious and looked out over the woodland grounds

No elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Did not realize that we had to make dinner reservations before the stay in order to secure a spot.

Very nice location, very nice staff. Speaking both English and French. Easy access to the river. Quiet

A small elevator to take suitcases up and down would be of great help (though we were helped to take up our sutcases (thank you))

Lovely location by the lake, peaceful. Outside heated pool. Staff friendly. Room had a mezzanine level good for kid and spiral staircase. Lake views!

We didn't take mosquito repellent, which should have thought about given lake location but our issue really! Breakfast was ok
