Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Regina

Facility was fantastic.

When it was time to check out. They took a deposit twice. $400.00 for each night we stayed. Then, when I checked out . They would not reimburse my deposit when I left. I have to wait a few days before I can get back my deposit. Very unpleasant experience. Especially when I expect to get my money back as soon as I check out, so now I have to wait a few days to get my money. We produced a credit card for our stay. And I thought they would not take the $800.00. But they did. I really needed that deposit. But nope. It is a beautiful place. Fantastic place to stay. But I won't be returning in the near future.

Close proximity to everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant was excellent.

The fact that they only clean your room every third day. We were there for 4 nights and our room was only serviced once. They will give you what you need if you ask, but you shouldn’t have to ask. If I am there for 4 nights, I need towels, face cloths, bath mats, coffee, coffee cups, and drinking cups. Covid is over folks - hire some cleaning staff!

The room layout was modern, clean and very spacious. I really liked how efficient the design was. Housekeeping was pretty thorough with the cleaning and each time my room was cleaned it felt new, and typically every towel was replaced with clean ones. The staff were very accommodating and nice.

Nothing much..maybe breakfast could use a bit more variety.

Great location with lots of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options within walking. Staff were very friendly, kids loved the pool, and the on site lounge is quite nice.

Our room had some scuff marks on the wall from someone previous and should be scrubbed off. Room didn’t have enough towels or t.p. but housekeeping resolved both within minutes. Breakfast buffet needed to be restocked more but that’s a small thing.

Room was very clean and comfortable. I normally stay at the Marriott chain and I’m never disappointed. The staff at this location are extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

Would love to see a lounging chair in the room. Something beside the office chair. I sometime like to relax and craft during my stay but can’t do that sitting in an office chair or on the bed

This was an excellent hotel. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. In addition, there were many options for dining nearby. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous (thanks for the corkscrew!) and even the breakfast, though simple, exceeded our expectations. We will be back next time we visit Regina.

No complaints.

A few busses of hockey teams checked in which made the buffet breakfast a bit of a zoo. While the buffet was good, it's certainly not big enough to accommodate the amount of people trying to get food. If they have large bookings they should set up a seperate buffet in a conference roomto accommodate. I also noticed alot of plastic being used for glasses, forks knives etc.

Nice Marriott experience. Newly updated carpet and decor. Nice showers and bathroom. Conveniently located near core of Regina close to lots of stores, restaurants, and about 5km from airport.

TV reception is not always that great and not all TV channels working during the stay. Believe they were doing some upgrading during my stay. Also, Londenbelle restaurant a little hit and miss for food service, no room service, and closed some nights.

I had to change arrival dates twice and they were able to make the changes even though I went through Booking.Com.

They charged me an extra $60 plus what was originally quoted by booking.com. I am guessing it was because I had to change arrival times and the number of rooms. It would also be nice if they had people who spoke fluent English answer the phones. They were very polite and perhaps it is just me but I had difficulty understanding some of the staff when on the phone.

I like your accommodations but the guy that was working last night told me I could stay there one more night with my Visa debit I cannot use my Visa debit no more than he says I do not understand why I've never damaged your property I've always respected it I've never drank or do drugs in your property so I don't understand what's the problem pretty sad that I can't use my Visa debit there cuz I don't mind staying there that's the second time I stayed in your property and it is an excellent property! I come to the city to visit my grandchildren not all of us have Visa cards I'm sorry these are debit should be good enough I pay your damage and I pay the room with no problems so I'll actually be coming back in there 3 weeks time and I'll have to look for another hotel according to the guy that was working last night cuz you guys won't accept my Visa debit anymore if you could answer my questions

That I can use my he's a debit not everybody has a Visa card I have my Visa debit card never always paid what you guys asked and I'm always respected the property it's something I don't like that I can't use my Visa debit no more
