Marriott Executive Apartments Chongqing

The location was excellent, near everything. Super clean, modern, and larger room than expected. In fact the website pictures do not do it justice. Its much better looking than depicted. For a studio its perfect for up to 2 people. The bathroom is HUGE, floor to ceiling marble, and it has a full size tub and nice rain type shower that also has a hand shower. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and opposite that is a washer and dryer built into the wall.

Hardly any staff speak English, so its a bit of a challenge but luckily I used a translator on my phone.

The room was spacious. The location is right in the center of Chongqing and next to plenty of street foods and within walking distance to famous tourist locations. The staff was very professional and willing to accommodate our requests.

The lighting in our room is definitely not adequate. The washing machine is too noisy. This is in fact probably not a problem with the hotel itself but due to the multiple construction sites nearby, it is not quiet in the room during the daytime which is a bit annoying.

- Found a few strands of hair in the bathroom (before I started using it). - Did not like the big bathroom window inside the room, even with the blinds down it was still semi-transparent. - The entrance was a bit hard to find and a bit of a hassle to switch between two elevators.

The location is really central and close to main attractions in Chongqing downtown, the subway lines are close to the hotel too. Our room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was fast and with lots of options for western and Chinese guests. The gym was small but well equipped and staff was always helpful.

The swimming pool working time is to short in the afternoon to 9pm, we would prefer to have access to the swimming pool during the morning too.

Location, comfortable apartment. Staff are excellent ambassadors of the hotel. Exceptional dinning room staff. Service always comes with a smile. Guest are always sent off at tne door with a thank you and a good day wish.

Central location, walking distance to sightseeing and lots of restaurants and street food around

Units have unusual floor plan some space wasted. Looks smaller than it listed.

It felt like i was living in luxury, the staff was always willing to help us.

very well located in the city center, the area is perfect for shopping and traveling around the city. The hotel is nice; very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. the breakfast is good, with choices and nice noodles freshly made.

the AC was not really on on that period, so it was too hot in the room. However they found solutions and moved us to a better room. the swimming pool was under maintenance, at least until end of April 2021 and this is mentioned no where on the website or booking.com.

I loved this place so much and booked another night on the day of arrival right away. Really lovely layout and interior design, food by room service was DELISH!
