Hotel Intercontinental Medellín, an IHG Hotel

They were able to maintain the property. Restaurant was amazing. Buffet was excellent. Room was spacious

I didn’t get any upgrades. View was not good from my room. Staff was snob

i loved practically everything, absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed in, in medellin or many other cities.. even their sister hotel, Movich (which is very nice), does not compare.. breakfast had many choices, all of them excellent( i could eat the breakfast for every meal), the outdoor restaurant has great food and prepared so well..the beds were AMAZING.. service there is always their pride and joy and the staff there does not disappoint..security used to be over protective, but now they are less annoying, so happy to see that adjustment..i cannot remember a perfect hotel, but if you do like a hotel that seem professional and orderly, this is a very safe pick,.. other have mentioned that this is a refurbished older hotel, and maybe so, but they did a great job making it look great, clean , prderly, and with all the other things mentioned above, it is a mute point to consider

the showers are always an issue, always too small in the basic rooms.. I received poor service at the outside restaurant, twice, but that was probably from the staff not being trained better...but, the hotel manager actually made an effort to talk to me about this the day I was leaving and said they pride themselves on taking care of thier customers and promised me this issue would be addressed, and I believe her..the location is not in the heart of el poblado, so not much to walk to during the day or night, but super close to the highway and taxis are always cheap in medellin..

Nothing was bad

The staff was AMAZING the hotel was were clean our room was great [big and clean] The bed was also great we will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was OK not the best the egg's were warm at best, the coffee was also just warm no bacon or potatoes could have been much better with a bigger selection for breakfast .

Breakfast is basic, but plentiful with fruits pastries cereal hot items like scrambled eggs beans rice hard boiled eggs, unlimited fruit juices and yes the coffee at this hotel is amazing. I just sit in the lobby and have a few cups before I start the day! It’s too good! Also staff speak English!

Nothing, this hotel is the number 1 most impressive and elegant hotel in Medellin. I wish I stayed here longer, average price was $90-100 Canadian a night.

The location, the size of the pool and SPA!

There was a section of the building which was under construction causing high level of noise, dust and inconvenient to access the gym and pool.

Luis front desk super nice & helpful. He also knew I wasn’t feeling well gave me bottle water and next day asked how I was. Very friendly

I think all rooms should have a bottled water just in case for travelers who don’t feel wel or offer if complimentary at front desk maybe a note

The location was great and the food was delicious.

We had a problem at check in. They did not have our room available and at check out they were charging me for an extra night and I already had paid for the stay in full.

Great hotel with a big pool and beautiful views from the rooms. very helpful staff that arrange our airport transfer and even helped us when the airline lost our luggage.

I never regret my reservations at intercontinental hotels in the world .This time i was also very satisfied with the quality and price of the hotel . Will come for sure again
