Hotel Boutique Casa Mia

I really enjoyed this boutique hotel could use a little updating but very comfortable. Has a mini pool upstairs. Beds and linens very nice. Lots of hot water. Wifi sucks. Did not have any noise from the bars across the street during my stay but the car horns honking till all hours. one lane one way street and the taxis stop at the park and won’t move for anyone until the get a customer. The hotel even provide ear plugs in there personal care dish. Get a room at the very back of the hotel upper floors. Check in time is 3 no earlier period. They will store your bags for you. Right in the restaurant and tourist area. I would stay here again. I left a tip for the maid hanging over the dresser. And she never touched it. Had to go deliver it to her.

Noise in the street. poor wifi

This hotel is located steps from the main street in the old town. They keep the front gates locked at all times for safety as it's quite a busy area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts and simple but yummy. The pricing is incredible and the rooms have a stocked mini bar with wines, beers, soda and snacks.

You'll have to ask for fresh towels or they won't change them out. No major complaints.

Very beautiful decoration and garden with a lot of plants.The room is spacious and clean. Hot water at the shower. Great jacuzzi to rest at the evening. Close to the center and different restaurants but very quite at the night. They allow to keep our bag while we went for 2 days trip to Tayrona park. Stuff was very helpful and friendly. Girl name Liney met us and provide all additional information we asked about transportation to the different destinations. Will definitely recommend it to the friends and will be stay here again if travel this part of the world one day.

No much possible hot water at the Jacuzzi at the evening will be nice but not sure if it’s can be control since during the day u definitely need fresh cold water there.

First of all the location of the hotel is perfect right on the Plaza de los Novios. We wanted a place from which we could go easily out at night for a drink and from what we 've heard it isn't prudent to walk in lonely streets in Santa Marta at night. There you were in the right spot. There wasn't a noise problem in the room, we slept well. The place is beautiful and well decorated. The room was spacious and clean. There was hot water. The stuff helped us a lot. Nice breakfast included as well.

I can't think of problem, except that it would be nice a bigger common area to relax. There were only 3 tables for breakfast and a couch in front of the reception desk.

Location was great, the staff was very nice and kind. The breakfast was good. There was a good size bathroom in our room

At breakfast time there were couple of options but they don't ask, they just give you what they think you want. To ask you your preferences for the day could improve the service. The jacuzzi had a suction tube that sucked my leg very strongly and left me with a bruise. I think it might be even dangerous to have it exposed without an appropriate lid.

A great value for money hotel. The pool is small but well maintained, clean and fun. The location is excellent. Good service.

The breakfast was very basic. The bars close by will play loud music until late in the evening. If you need to go to sleep early and are bothered by noise, this isn't for you.

Very central location and very helpful staff. The room was spotless and really beautiful. We loved the rooftop jacuzzi and the nature theme throughout.

The shower in the room was just more than a trickle… it looked amazing but the pressure was very poor. The music from the bar across the road was very loud and played quite late.

Nice room and facilities

A very young guy at the front door at the beginning of our stay. The rest of the staff was so cool, he wasn’t gross but he was not the one to be in the front door. So shy that made us feel uncomfortable. I think with good training he can improve because he wasn’t bad just like he was a new member of the staff.

The bed was very comfortable and big. The room in general was nice. We booked twice, before and after the Lost City Trek. We could leave our luggage on a safe spot. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The "pool" is small but relaxing. The breakfast is as usual in Colombia. The location is in the middle of the city center. Laundry service was awesome and quick.

It was noisy, but that's everywhere in Colombia (horning cars and music).

- There is no hook or place to hang any clothes - The room was extremely hot and hard to cool event with the AC and fan but it was manageable and that’s the price you pay for having wonderful,high ceiling
