Large and comfy rooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food and views at the restaurant were incredible - little pricy for the area but really good. The rooms had both air conditioning and fans, and a nice, spacy bathroom. We found the place super clean. Location wise it's on the main road, about a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal and 5 minutes from the bus stop. Loved it and would come again.
The bathroom has some open panels on the door, so if you're in more than one, you can quite clearly hear and smell the other person's bathroom activities.

all members of staff are very nice and helpful, especially the lady in the reception room. spacious room, very clean. the cleaner is hard worker.
too far from town and activities. it’s not very convenient for not having breakfast included. most of the guests have to go into the town to have breakfast. that was quite a long walk.

pretty much everything apart from not staying longer, we had a room right on the water (this added to the experience), very pleasant, functional well equipped room with ample space. gigantic bathroom
can think of nothing apart from if you want breakfast you’ll likely need to go elsewhere or bring something to snack on in the morning. Great staff however treated us to a coffee at the least. I really enjoyed my stay here so it’s hard to fault

Fabulous and very clean, first time staying at Banana and did not disappoint. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely we’ll stay there again. Thank you Marcos and his staff for a very enjoyable and confortable stay.

This was an overnight stop for us but we totally enjoyed the lovely view of the water sitting at the restaurant, watching boats go by and the impressive yachts idling in the water.
Staff wearing no face mask in bar serving area and while serving us our food or drinks. We had two double beds with one pillow each.

We had such a great time at Banana Bay even if it was a short stay! Right on the water with amazing views. Amazing food and wonderful people! Perfect place to stay In Golfito!

The harbour wiew from the restaurant and open space to the waterfront was so nice. Very fresh room with a refrigerator. wardrobe , desk and even an armchair. Very helpful staff. Close to the bus station a the pier for taxi boats.
