Hôtel Acajou

The room was clean and comfortable, the toilet and the shower are conveniently split in two spaces. It has fridge, microwave and a sink. The terrace is cute and welcoming. Dogs are welcome.

It does not include any dishes or cutlery, so you need to bring yours but it was not a problem because I knew it beforehand by reading the reviews and brought mine. Bear in mind you need a car to access this hotel as it is not located in the city centre but free parking spots are available next to the room.

The setting is pretty idyllic, as it is near the road but still, the way it is distributed you do not have that feeling. It has a camping feeling to it, and they really paid attention to privacy and to giving guests the feeling of being out in nature. Value for money is excellent, the rooms are comfortable (we tried the studio the first night, and we liked it so much that we extended our stay an extra night in the double room). The studio is slightly bigger and has a more private setting, especially in the balcony - but the double room is also an excellent choice, well-fitted and comfy. Staff were all super sweet, kind and attentive - both at the reception and the housekeeping team. It was really one of the highlights of our stay - they made everything so easy! Merci beaucoup!

Some parts of the room weren't as clean - while the bed and the WC were sparkling clean, the surface around the bathroom's tap had some hairs which weren't ours, and the shower was alright but could use a bit of extra cleaning. The short distance to the main road made us think that it would be noisy, but nothing further from the truth! It was really nice and quiet. There are speed bumps in the area too so cars drive really slowly, which aids with the noise levels.

The room was very small, but acceptable. The bathroom needed updating. The shower had plastic curtains which are never really clean. The breakfast routine was strange. Surely easier to put out the food rather than serve it. Charge people if they take food out of the dining area.

Location. Super friendly reception staff. Easy checkin. Dog friendly with upfront deposit of €30 refunded on checkout. Motel style, felt like a seaside camping motel. Room had super comfortable bed, duvet and pillows plus a new microwave and 1/2 fridge and TV with international stations. 3 km easy walk to centre and beach. Excellent value for price.

BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE. THE ROOM HAD A MICRO AND REFRIG . VERRY CLEAN . WE STAYED 4 NIGHTS . VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL RECEPTION AND RESTAURANT STAFF; OUTSIDE TABLE AND CHAIRS IN FRONT OF ROOM WAS A VERY NICE FEATURE .

DISTANCE TO THE CITY CENTER AND VERY FAR TO THE BEACH . SOMEONE COMING FOR THE BEACH WOULD HAVE A LONG TIME GETTING THERE

Everything was fine. Easy to find, nice girl on reception, simply check in and check out, parking few steps from the door, small dog 5 Eur, fast free wifi. We had no breakfast, only coffee, so i can't review. Room spacious enough, furnitured, bed comfy. Soap, towels and bed linen inklusive. Everything very clean. I can only recommend!

Easy access, loads of parking space,clean,restaurant local. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Good value for money. Staff lovely.
