Hotel Le Mas Trilles

- Nice large room ("Luxe"), good bed, air con, refrigerator, good bathroom. - Attractive garden and grounds, lovely, good-size swimming pool. - Good breakfast, good "light dinner" (charcuterie, etc.) - Nice large servings of spirits on request! - Run by a friendly couple. - Despite lack of "things to see and do" immediately nearby, it's a lovely place to do nothing (read, swim, relax)

- Needs more room lighting, possibly. - Not many options for eating nearby, apart from one up-market (= expensive) restaurant (good food). - Not much to see or do nearby apart from country walks.

Loved this Hotel. Hotel Mas Trilles was a beautiful old stone hotel that had been very tastefully renovated. The garden area and pool were beautiful and very comfortable. Lots of lovely shaded areas to sit and eat or have drinks. The Hotel was next to a river where you could walk. We saw kingfishers and a heron. The rooms were very comfortable, (especially the beds with their crisp white sheets), each having a private area outside with table and chairs

We stayed only for one night and we were disappointed that no food was available at the hotel on that evening. They did do food on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We drove into Ceret, (5 mins away). and had a meal there instead.

We loved the quiet location and ambience of this small hotel. Lots of flowers and greenery, lovely old house and outbuildings, great swimming pool. Really efficient and quiet air conditioning in our room. Limited but good breakfast.

Our room was a bit small (12) but it was comfortable. The food offered in the evening could be more varied and of a higher quality. Mosquitos were bit of a problem. Lots of nasty smelling anti-mossie necessary.

There is nothing that I didn’t like per se, and my stay was great. I would just point out an area of improvement. For people like me having to manage a consulting business, having the possibility to connect on Internet from their room is convenient. The wifi network was excellent, but in the premises of the Mas Trilles and couldn’t be reached from my room, which was a small disappointment.

Exceptional place to stay. The house itself is beautiful, and the garden is perfect place to sip wine in the evening. They offer breakfast and also tapas and wine in the evening which is very convenient. Great room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a large bathtub. It was a bit chilly to use the swimming pool (immaculately clean, large enough for a swim), but the area is great and I only wish the weather was a bit warmer so we could use it.

A beautiful property a short drive from Ceret. The room was very comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast and dinner on the terrace. Lovely swimming pool.

Our only issue was that we arrived early and were told we couldn’t check in until 3pm so had to sit in the garden for an hour and a half without water or toilet facilities.

Super-friendly and helpful owners. Excellent continental breakfast. Though no evening restaurant, we really enjoyed the substantial tapas that was offered on most evenings. Our room was exceptionally clean and well serviced. A Nice heated pool.

Our room was excellent and we were able to sit outside on our private terrace which was only steps from the fabulous pool. The entire property and grounds are delightful. The breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice. We ate tapas at the hotel one evening which was very enjoyable. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly.

this property is an old farmhouse that is rustic but chic. it is family run and they are super people and very accommodating. we had tapas on the patio and food was great and they couldn’t have been nicer. if you want to visit the artistic and charming town of Ceret, consider Le Mas Trilles. you will be well cared for. breakfast on the patio was perfect!
