Hotel De Belgique à Menton

The hotel was right next to the train station, so we could leave our stuff quickly. It has a couple of restaurants and bakeries near by. The beach is at a 5 minute walk, so location is pretty great. The room is not too big, bit it has all that you need, we even had a balcony with a pretty view. The bed is also very comfortable, I believe the place might have been recently removated.

This is purely a matter of personal preference, but the fix shower. I prefer ones that can be moved around.

+ good working AC in hot days + very friendly host that helped with parking in front of door, warm the food with microwave, we could store our foos in fridge and borrow an iron + parking in front of the door (you need to check the signs where thats possible) and it's not much + location close to train station for day trip to other cities and close to the beach

- no elevator - the washbasin in the bathroom wasnreally small - bathroom was small, especially the shower - rooms look a bit somber due to grey colour - hotel looks a bit outdated

We had a pleasant overnight stay at this hotel/hostel, it has basic amenities but very clean and the host is very communicative and reliable. Location of the hostel is right near the train station and within walking distance to city center with close access to the beach, stores and restaurants.

All was good.

Receptionists (lady inparticular) extremely friendly and helpful.. always in a good mood and happy to help.

Window in the toilet was unlockable and exposed to the outside but to be fair I did not mention this at the time...

Very close from the train station and also in to the centrum, very cozy room and nice staff.

Everything was good but one thing was that the room wasn’t so sound proof. Example you could hear the person in the room next door to you.

Family of 4 traveling to the Fête du Citron. Hotel is very clean. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Location is perfect: practically in front of the train station and 1 minute walk to the Lemon sculptures and office of tourism. Will definitely return.

The hotel has a great location, near the sea lane. Otherwise basic amenities, still very good for the price paid. As it it close to the train station it can be a bit noisy if your room is looking towards the street.

The host was super friendly. He even offered his parking space for us and recommended great dinner place nearby. The balcony was small but very cozy. The location was great!

No hand soup available in bathroom. Inconsistent shower pressure.

The staff were really friendly and kind. The room was cozy and elegant.

I didn’t like the lack of an elevator, but it was okay. The lady at the reception asked us if we needed help with the luggage, and I really appreciated it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent continental breakfast. Very good location close to station, but train noise no problem. 600 m level walk to sea and shops. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby too. Would highly recommend.
