Hôtel Vacances Bleues Delcloy

This is a wonderfully located hotel and excellent value for what’s around you. The gardens are peaceful and well kept. The access to the walk around Cap Ferrat is amazing and I cannot think of a better place to stay if you like walking along the coast with breathtaking views. We didn’t use any of the dining facilities but enjoyed coffees from the outdoor hut.

The check-in of 5pm is very late and even though it is explained at time of booking I think should be improved upon by the hotel. we thought we’d be able to get in a little earlier but it was 5pm check-in. I think 3pm is what most hotels are. This was my only negative from the stay. The lobby and restaurant/bar area appeared as though it needed brightening/modernising. There were soooo many laminated signs on the walls which spoils the look of the place. I am sure the information could probably be communicated in a better way.

Amazing location with pool and bar over looking the ocean, and direct pedestrian access to the walkway around Cap Ferrat. Restaurants and shops close by on foot but really the location is the highlight. For what you pay you won’t fine better value this close to St Jean Cap Ferrat. I booked a “single” room but really it was a double. Not huge but you could definitely sleep two people in the room if they don’t have huge luggage. Good basic buffet breakfast - eggs, bread, pancakes, sausages, bacon, yoghurt fruit juice etc. The restaurant also offers a buffet dinner for 30 euro but I didn’t try this. Sounds like good value though.

Professional and friendly staff, easy alignment with questions, all requests were fulfilled at the first inquiry. Hotel Rooms were clean and equipped with all necessary items and in very good shape, everything worked well - to feel at home a little bit of personal taste beside the pure functionality would add comfort and character. Overall the service was definetly good.

On the day of departure, the breakfast buffet was empty at 8:00 in the morning and was not refilled, even though we asked. In a nutshell even the day before the breakfast was OK but nothing more - most hotels in europe are able invest some more care and love into their food- the quality of the breakfast settled our decision to go outside for diner. Drinks at the bar were expensive. Beer was served in cans, a glass would have been nice.

The property had amazing views of the sea (not from our room. The pool area was beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful. The property grounds are quite lovely--expansive, with lots of play areas.

The rooms are dated, but satisfactory. Parking garage has tiny stalls, but at least there was parking.

The gardens, the pool and the view on the ocean are fabulous.

The room (310) was nice with balcony but at night time with dozens of ants and small spiders in the toilet. The hotel deserves not more than 3 stars and needs a thorough renovation. The food and breakfast were OK but not more than 3 stars. Despite these negative points, we would come again. The gardens, view and pool are exceptional.

Excellent location! Description at Booking.com exactly matches the reality (nothing more, but nothing less either!) Very friendly staff who is doing their best to help you.

Moldy smell from air conditioning - however, it can be a general problem of the area, air conditioners are working 24/7… It would be very nice to have a tea cattle and a minibar (or a small fridge) in the room - but again this is for future improvement. One can always go to the hotel restaurant or to one of the plenty restaurants outside.

The food was excellent - breakfast and dinner were included - exceeded expectations as did the location of the resort - we did not realize we would be directly on the Mediterranean with such gorgeous views. The pool was lovely. Enjoyed the live music on Bastille night. Staff - exemplary.

The only negative - lack of air conditioning in the lobby.

The garage for the car was very useful!

The scrambled eggs were not of good quality.

The pool and views are amazing. The location is ideal and in walking distance to numerous waterfront restaurants and town.

The showers are the size of a coffin with exposed piping that gets scorching hot and could lead to burns. I'm a relatively small person and felt very cramped. The bars and restaurants at the resort look amazing but were not open yet for the season in late May. Overall, the pros far outweighed the cons. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Excellent location! We loved the huge garden and the pool. The dinner was fabulous, very delicious, good quality, various types of food. Very polite and helpful staff. Lots of social events, such as dancing parties, yoga, aqua fitness etc. were organised by the hotel that I liked so much.

At breakfast there were no vegetables that I missed.
