Gewandhaus Dresden, Autograph Collection

Perfect location to explore the beautiful historical centre of Dresden. Friendly and smooth check-in (but really still filling in forms at the reception?!). Lovely breakfast. Good beds. The first hotel where our dog received a decent bed and a snack.

The bathroom desperately needed some love. We had an oversized whirlpool bath. Nice, but the visible sides of the bath were nasty! also the bathroom furniture was partly broken and the marble was cracked. The airconditioning system was a bit old fashioned as well, so we woke up in a steamy hot room.

The room was on the small side, but beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Mattress and pillow were perfect, the bathroom had an actual jacuzzi which is a bit decadent but feels great. But the definite highlight was the wonderfully helpful staff. The location was just great, a 5 minute walk from all major sight seeing spots, everything around it was gorgeous. Breakfast was lovely and delicious - so many options and all of them high quality.

Having a private jacuzzi in your bathroom is incredibly, but it made the shower a bit difficult to get into and out of - a bath mat would be great as it was a bit slippery. I didn't quite figure out the AC settings and also, more tea options for the little coffeemaker would've been great, but these are details really and didn't disturb my overall positive impression of the place.

The room was spacious and really nice for two people, who both need their space. Location is simply perfect - the best ws to either go for your business meeting or shopping or a variety of nice and good restaurants. Breakfast IS the highlight in a wonderful atrium; aside of a wonderful and diverse buffet you can order pancakes, eggs benedict and other delicious foods that are served on order! And the waiters are attentive without being too much present.

Sauna and pool area is good, could be a bit better with a relaxing area for sauna guest only. The intermixture of gym, pool and sauna is a bit strange. I noticed that people came in to check the area out and left - maybe some were only interested in the gym and felt uncomfortable in being in sight with pool and sauna.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Close to the old city center of Dresden. As it was a bit cold outside we enjoyed the whirlpool in the room.

We came with EV and it caused us problems to find a charging station. According to specifications they have one but that's only a public which was very busy.

Spectacular building with plenty of character, inside and outside. Superb staff, very helpful. Great room. Excellent spa/gym facilities. Easy , affordable parking. A great hotel

Outrageous breakfast price: 28 Euros per person!! way above comparable hotels/breakfast during our 2-week trip through East Germany.

Perfect location in the heart of town. The highlight was the pool and sauna area - beautiful! We stayed in a room right under the roof, which was very cozy and had a tasteful classic decor. Staff was friendly.

Due to Corona restrictions, no alcohol was served at the bar downstairs. Not the hotel's fault though.

The staff were amazing on arrival on offering options to eat and things to see around town. The bar staff were punctual, as soon as we sat down we had drinks, and the whole hotel is kept up to a high quality standard.

Breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was.

Wonderful stay at the Gewandhaus Dresden. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. We slept well each night, and appreciated the peace and cleanliness. The frühstuck was delicious and fresh. And we couldn't have asked for a better location in Dresden Altstadt. We could walk to all of the places we wanted to visit.

Location, beautiful pool, nice Ambience

weren’t informed properly about breakfast options until day 3, some hair accumulation outside pool not removed for days

stylish and comfortable, the pool was great, as well as breakfast

the room was little hot, so we opened the balcony door as we did not want to have a/c on. We had window directed to the atrium. And there was quite a lot of noise made by restaurant.
