The hotel is very close to the trainstation. From there it is easy and a short way to Dusseldorf Airport. There are many restaurants neary the hotel where you can go for dinner. The person at the check-in desk was fast and friendly. The room is perfect and so was the shower. There was enough place to accomodate 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 3 years old). The breakfast is SUPERB: so many choices for healthy and tasty things, nice fresh fruits (also strawberries for example) and real (so no Chinese fake) honey. I would really recommend to include breakfast for this hotel.

Nothing, all was good.

The location to the railway station as well as to the city centre was very good.

The beds were a bit on the hard side. There was also only one elevator and that was sometimes used as well by staff for transporting the carts when cleaning in the morning. This is not a problem when not having a heavy suitcase, but you do not want to carry a suitcase up or down stairs if possible, so you might have to wait a bit to go either up or down. Housekeeping is only done once every two days, which is fine by me but should have been clearly mentioned at check in.

Shower was good. Bed was good. Breakfast was ok, could have more options for hot meals. There are some fridges where you can buy beverages for your room, they are not as cheap as the market, but are not overpriced too.

Frequency of room cleaning. The parking costs 10 euros overnight, the hotel should have a free parking space, or a maximum 3 euro per day parking, we spent around 110 euros only in parking.

Location of the hotel is just perfect. Easy to reach by Car as well as public transport. Located in right next to the City centre gives an opportunity to take advantage of the local market and the beautiful city centre/ walking street. Lots of places nearby for shopping and dining.

Parking is available directly in the basement of building (Which is great!) but not free for guests. It is normal city parking and cost up to 10€ per day. Only small complain being that it was not clear to me at the time of booking. Also, the breakfast price of 18€ per person seems rather expensive as the locality offers a wide variety of options anyway.

Perfect location for the theatre/opera house. Nicely renovated shower room. Convenient parking, which at 10 euros a night is a good deal in a city centre. Helpful and efficient staff. We particularly appreciated the free large bottle of water as the temperature was 34C.

There is only one lift, which is for the use of both the hotel's guests and its staff plus all their equipment. As the hotel was busy, this meant long waits. I don't mind walking down 5 flights of stairs, but do object to having to walk up them! The fridge was not working, apparently due to covid-19 restrictions??? Note that although there is air-conditioning, the temperature is controlled centrally and you cannot regulate it yourself in your room. I would have liked it to be a few degrees cooler as it was a very hot night. The breakfast was overpriced. We went elsewhere.

Staff was friendly and efficient, and the pool was sweet!

The hotel is a bit old, but it’s still solid, bonus for the renovated bathroom! We all appreciated it. The worst was that..The bed weren’t comfortable; it was missing that little ‘sleeping on a cloud’ that would make all the little old things around acceptable; like sleeping at a good friends, where you don’t mind the old carpet, but you sleep really well.

All boxes were ticket for a one night family stop on the way through Europe. The breakfast focused on bread but also offered a bit healthier alternatives. Easy but not cheap to park a car. Location was excellent for exploring the city centre.

We arrived during a running event just outside which left us in massive car jam. The hotel could have informed us about this to avoid trouble.

Central location, parking price acceptable for city rates, rooms clean and friendly staff. very accommodating as I got a kettle in my room rather than using plastic coffee pods. All in all a great stay and already booked our next stay.

Renovation work still ongoing in the bar area, closed during our stay. Swimmingpool cleaned at 07.30 am which was then not available to guests. A big plus for me personally is the pool as I’m a keen swimmer.

The location was ok. A bit outskirt from downtown but we used car so it's not a problem. The most thing my kids love was the indoor pool. Small but its enough.

When we first arrived, the room was made for a person and not like for a family of fours as per ordered. However, the staff handled the issue well and we managed to change room as per ordered.
