Hotel Gasthof Goldener Hahn

Location: easy to reach even without a car. There's a lovely tram going from the city center of Frankfurt (Oder) to the hotel area. The tram cuts through the wood. Just lovely. Dinner: simple but tasty. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Breakfast: very good and complete breakfast. Worth paying the extra. Staff: at the evening we have been welcomed by a very friendly man who also served us during dinner. Plus: the polish border is right in front of the city. SO for adventurers like me, it's just perfect as you can go to Poland and explore that side, which is totally different from German side.

The doors in the toilet are suffering from water coming from the shower. Will be nice to see them refreshed.

very quiet location very convenient access to the network large parking the room I had I could go outside to smoke if needed from my room cleanliness order I really, really liked it and the Garden is also very beautiful and there are a lot of rabbits running around there

the restaurant is not open all day only the correct hours are in the evening and in the morning during the day it is not open

We were traveling with 3 children and the room was great. Walk in shower 😄. Lots of towles. The restaurant served a good variety of dinners. What we chose was delicious. The breakfast buffet had a good verity of hot and cold offerings. Kids 4 and under eat breakfast free.

The location is very convenient, the staff is extremely polite and welcoming, good breakfast, ample of parking space, in general - the whole transaction was very smooth. Pets welcome - grateful for that.

The additional fee for having the pets was not obvious when booking, came as a bit of a surprise. I have booked the room with "double bed" and "garden view", - we got two single beds and I would not call the view "garden view", sorry. Also, slight inconvenience was caused by the lack of shower gel / shampoo in the bathroom. Our shampoo was tightly packed in the car and there was no idea to worry about it since we are staying at a hotel. Two small plastic sachets of shampoo were not enough to properly wash a head of long hair. A small detail to improve on.

not enough toiletries (body wash) in the shower (was enough for the evening but not enough for the morning) - design of the shower suboptimal - the body closes the tap if I want to avoid spillage outside :-)

Just great. Clean, everything needed was available. I just looked for some rest after a long trip for a night and i got everything for it. Clean and cozy. They speak English and answer phone calls quickly. Breakfast available tho i didn't take the opportunity) The distance from a tram stop is okay, 10 min walk. And,yeah, the window view was very cute) Also you can hear the neighbors very good but its a common thing for this kind of buildings.

I like almost everything.

The morning staff wasn't very nice. It looks like she become very angry because we asked to seat outside (we have been with dog). Of I understand good she said that it is to cold serving us outside but she gived to uz everything what we need.

Great value for money, friendly staff and honestly a great stay!

All together was a brilliant stay however if there was 1 thing I could ask for would have been a kettle in the room to make formula for our baby

We got baby cot even when we did not choose one. Was very convenient and we did not need to bring ours

The room could be colder, but outside temperature was over 30 degrees, so this was understandable

Nice, clean hotel with good location for people travelling into Germany. Very close to the highway. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Breakfast could be more varied. There is no AC in room (second building) so I assume that during hot nights it can be a significant disadvantage.
