NH Hannover

NH Hannover, Germany was excellent! This is a very modern and well-managed hotel! The room was very comfortable, a good size for two, and in a good location! We were pleased to see that dogs are welcome (though we didn't bring one). The air-conditioning was very effective and appreciated, though the ability to open the window was also appreciated! A feature I appreciate is the automatic light when the closet is opened. The Reception Staff was excellent - very accommodating and warm providing Uban assistance and suggestions for nearby eateries.. We loved the gummy bears and crackers at Reception!

Housekeeping, we learned, is a contracted service. One day of four, we didn't receive service until after 1730 even after requesting it at 1590. I made up the bed each day - so basically, dry towels, replacement of toilet roll & Kleenex, and emptying the trash were all we needed - even 5ese were not done each day

Very nice building and stylishly furnished breakfast area. Great and convenient parking opportunity right in front of the hotel. Very nice rooms, some of them with large balcony / roof terrace with a nice view on the city.

Having a kind and attentive staff can backfire if you don't have enough staff to serve everyone. We ended up needing to wait 20 minutes for check-in, because there was only 1 guy at the check-in desk and he kept answering every single question of the old couple in front of us about the city, and where to go to eat...etc. Very nice for the old couple, but we were quite annoyed by the time we got our turn.

I can honestly say that this is one of the very best hotels I've ever stayed in. Everything was perfect from the beds, to the design, to the amenities. I found the beds to be incredibly comfortable and the room was impeccably clean. The air-conditioning worked wonderfully, which was a relief given the warm weather during our stay. The hotel's location is ideal and there are several supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Some guests may find the staff to be unfriendly and that it is unclear which items in the minibar are complimentary and which ones require payment. Upon entering the room, there is a packet of crisps and a bottle of wine on the counter that are not included in the room rate. This may lead to confusion and inadvertent consumption of these items by some guests.

The breakfast was very good! The location of the hotel is quiet central, it takes about 15 minutes to come to the city center by walking. The hotel is beautiful, clean, convenient and just like expected.

My roommate came with one car and I came with my own car, because we live far away from one another, but shared the same room. A lady at the reception wanted to charge parking for both cars, thus 25 euros per day. Then a friendly man at the reception corrected her and said, that it was okay to charge for just one car, thus 12,50 euros per day. This is very good service and just as it should be. It is just not very fair, that it depends on the one at the reception how much they will charge for parking.. They need to be clear about that.

The location was good and parking directly in front of the hotel. Room was clean and the window has good isolation against the noises on the road.

I was disappointed by the breakfast. I am not talking about the missing of lactose free milk, which is essential to people with special needs. It was simply over priced for what you get, for a breakfast of 15 Euros per person, I would expect at least baked beans, potatoes, melons or water melons, but there is none.

There is so many things i like: 1- the staff were so gentle and helpfull with a great smiles on their faces. 2- location of the property. 3- green supporting.

Sadly thier was some dislikes: 1- the room was too tiny. 2- the room service wasn’t cleaning enough (some times they don’t change the plastic bags). 3- parking was tight and a bit expensive.

Take the room with the terrace, this changes everything. Without a terrace it is a normal, decent hotel with normal rooms -- with terrace it is a wonder. You can literally see the whole of Hannover from your bed.

I did not have breakfast, but -- much against the content of this website and against the website of the hotel -- there is no restaurant and the only thing that I could order to my room was defrost pizza.

Quick check in and check out (you can pay in cash or by credit card), friendly staff at the reception (they gave us suggestions for dinner), quiet and safe area, walking distance from the main train station and city center, small private parking just in front of the entrance, few restaurants nearby, good selection of food for breakfast and very relaxing atmosphere with lounge music, clean and modern rooms, complementary tea and coffee.

perfect location - walking distance to the city center and only ~5-7 minutes drive to Herrenhausen Gardens small, but nice, clean, modern room private parking for 12.5 euros/day

the room was very small, looks like it was 1 room in the past, but then divided into 2 small rooms everything else was perfect

Great Service, all facility is clean, staff very friendly on all days. We ordered an extra bed for our daughter and all worked out well. Breakfast is recommendable, food variety of choice. Free welcome drinks were great. We will definitely come again

The bigger elevators didn't work (we had a stroller which was hardly entering the other elevator). One of the rooms had a small coffee machine which was great, but the other didn't.
