We really liked breakfasts, the mattresses were very comfortable, it is not something obvious in hotels as they are usually too soft. Location is great! Near to seaport and promenade, very close to shopping centers and nice restaurants. Great idea is also free drink if you dont want the room cleaning- tea is fabulous 😊 Thank you for the awesome stay!

it's a pity that the bed was two single beds, but the mattresses were so comfortable that we turned a blind eye to it 😊 I think it was said in room description that it is double bed

We got our room a bit earlier with no charge (probably not expected, but it was a nice bonus nonetheless!), and the check-in was smooth and quick. The location is excellent, 15 min to the boat, 10 min to the train station, and 5 minutes to the Christmas market and city centre. We could leave our luggage at the check-out too. The rooms were in excellent condition, everything new, pleasant smell, quiet, comfy large beds, and super clean (nothing under the bed too!). Everything was as in the pictures, no surprises! Great stay! And the corridors were quiet. The room had a nice TV with a dolby-digital system and a few card games, plus a safety deposit box free of charge. The shower was warm, soap was also decent. Oh and room temperature regulation was excellent!

One of the elevators broke during our stay, and breakfast was not included in the price tag (but there are quite a few nice small bakeries around).

My room was large and very nicely and comfortably furnished, and everything looked brand new. I loved the decorative wallpapers in the room and the (also very modern) bathroom. The icing on the cake was the high-quality soundbar, so that I could listen to music (streamed from my phone) at a much higher quality than in other hotels. The breakfast was excellent and very good value.

It seems the hotel does not expect business travelers - there was no desk in the room, so it was not possible to do a little bit of work on the laptop in the evening.

The location, first floor rooms and bar was good. also the staff were really friendly. the hotel is easy to reach and it is basically in the city center with all the shops and restaurants near. there was also an EDEKA just next to it.

the breakfast was not good enough. specially for 14 euros. I didn't get it cause I was also in the same hotel in Hamburg and there the breakfast was disappointing. here, my colleagues who got the breakfast were also disappointed (money, quality).

Smart interior, solid finish of fittings and details. Large enough bathroom, nice towel dryer, although proper showerhead missing. Location is good.

Repeated water pipe and AC noise during the night. One matrass was coverd with a plastic protective sheet - an absolute no-no. Flimsy pillows. No table in room whatsoever, working there on laptop not possible. Elevators can't cope with traffic during peak periods. Reception and bar/breakfast area are not seperated, making sitting down unattractive. Cushions instead of proper chairs in the lounge make sitting uncomfortable. Check in staff addresses guests persistently with 'Du' instead of 'Sie', which is annoying.

Enjoyed the restaurant/bar after our day/evening out. Breakfast had a good spread, felt coffee could be done differently, all hot foods overcooked (we ate during the last half hour, may have been better earlier). Also need better orange juice. Shower was excellent, great bathroom. The staff are incredibly friendly. The night bartender was excellent! Parking garage very close and not expensive.

Honestly, proper orange juice and would prefer coffee carafes for breakfast.

Our room was nicely decorated and clean. The room was very quiet and we didn't even hear the birds outside. I loved the thick bed doonas! The staff were friendly and asked if we wanted to borrow an umbrella because of the weather. Very thoughtful! We were very surprised and delighted that we could stream TV-shows from our mobiles to the TV.

When I booked the room the photo showed a room with a couch, but we only got an arm chair. The room was quite cold at night and the air con was pretty loud. Our window view was not great, but for us it didn't matter.

The room looked exactly like the image provided. The location is good and the room is good for a short stay. Even though it might seem otherwise, i think the positive outdid the negative as feedback but still have things to be noted.

We found some hairs in the bed which were not from us, taking into a consideration that we just entered the room. The staff were unprepared with answers about the parking, even though we have sent a message upon booking. The room has no fridge or kettle/coffee machine. There are two elevators - not a big problem, on the day of the checkout i spent 10 minutes waiting due to high demand and the elevator stopping on each floor. The view from the window was not the best and if open people next room kinda can look into yours.

Kiel week was taking place . Amazing place to be during this time. so much happening !! Really liked how you were able to receive a free drink if you did not get your room serviced. Thought this was a great option to help with the environment .

Was very difficult to navigate the bus system to get out to the sailing competition. In actual fact we were unable to get their for the racing. If you chose not to get your room serviced you received a glass of wine /beer . The glass of wine was very very small.

We spent a couple of days visiting family in Kiel, and come across this hotel in our search for a place to stay. The location is very nice, downtown right next to the main shopping/ pedestrian street. The allow puppies (plus in our book) even to the lounge area provided they don’t start grabbing food off of the buffet. The staff were super friendly and very thorough on checking Corona passes. Rooms were very clean. During our stay they had a special where if you don’t have your room cleaned between night (for environmental reasons, of course) they offer a drink. Which we made use of for a nightcap one evening, great idea!

There wasn’t really much to complain about. Only two minor things, some creaking pipes, probably when somebody was having a late night shower, and a creaky bathroom door.
