Beautiful, clean, easy check-in and ample parking. Restaurant was delicious, inviting, and had a great menu.

Breakfast charged buffet drinks and buffet food separately, the only time I have ever seen that, and I travel in Europe staying at different hotels for 5-6 straight months of the year. Just a matter of personal preference, but this really confused me. The restaurant server (this is my only complaint, food was incredible), pulled a scam in trying to get us (Americans) to tip as though we were in America (our standard is 15-20% of the entire bill). This is very inappropriate and a direct attempt to manipulate our cultural norms for personal gain. Putting this here as warning for other American citizens who may be first-time travelers. Pretty disappointed. Not something I see very often, twice in seven years, and it happened here because I spoke English at the table.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Location is not far away from the highway, there is a big shop just around the corner where you can buy everything what you need, there are plenty of parking places and there is a nice hotel restaurant at the ground floor. We enjoyed our stay, and what was for us really outstanding was the breakfast they served. Really really tasty!

I didn't like that I put on some weight because of the tasty breakfast. Actually, I did like it :D.

The hotel restaurant, Il Convento was absolutely the best!! Our waiter was superb, so friendly and made our family dinner unforgettable. The food was amazing and everything was very delicious. Can't wait to go back to try some more specialties, menu items. The hotel was quite unique and we loved every bit of it, very comfortable rooms and great accommodations. Owner and staff were exceptional, always available to help.

Nothing, it's a wonderful hotel and restaurant!! Highly recommend it!

we got two deluxe family rooms for 3people each. payed same amount for both rooms, but one room wasn’t a deluxe at all. it was regular double room with sofa bed - means no couch. I could’ve paid less for the room. another room was very nice with extra loft space with another bed. we also had a sofa. they only gave us one correct room. I mentioned about it at the checkout, but they didn’t adjust the price.

We came to the hotel late and we were happy to see that the reception was still open after 11 pm. Our room nr. 16 was across the reception and it was fully decorated like a chapel from a monastery. Everything in this room was well thought through - from the wooden chairs to the iron lamps and glass windows. This hotel is just a stone throw away from the highway and it is on a perfect location for a night's rest or even if you are discovering the surrounding areas for a few days. In our room there was complimentary water waiting for us and the staff was friendly.

As our room was right next to the hotel's entrance and the hotel reception, it was pretty loud in the evening. This was due some hotel guests who were not considerate. Hence, we could hear them talking loudly. The room has beautiful windows but it is impossible to open them during the night as the room is on the ground floor.

I stayed here before and like the area inside the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. Such good food and excellent service.

The only thing that wasnt so good were that the men at the check in said we should have breakfast but he didnt mention that our dog wasnt allowed in the breakfast room. If we had known that we wouldnt had breakfast. I told that to the reception and they took the cost away and that we appriciated.

The hotel was super great! We booked it on our way down the Autobahn heading towards Southern Europe with three small tired kids in the back. When we got there, we were warmly greeted and were supervised where to park the car despite of a packed parking lot. Nice service. The hotel was great - tidy and with an incredible atmosphere from when it was an old monastery. We got a family room and it was nice and quirky with two floors and stairways in between. Bathroom was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was super good with freshly baked bread and tasty fruit. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant just next to the hotel (in the same building) and the food was really, really good. Great pasta and antipasti to the point. Also, the service was great and the staff was super sweet and attentive to our tired kids. Will definitely visit again next time we pass by on our way to Italy. We felt like we won in lottery when checking in.

One of the beds was a water bed. Quite an experience and even though the kids were very entertained, we prefer a classic bed. The location is great when you get off the Autobahn but it seemed like it was in the boring outskirts of Rosenheim.

Very unusual property, built as an old monastery (it’s hard to believe it’s not an original 15th century building). Our room and bed were small (we knew that when we booked the last available room), and although it resembled a monks ‘cell’, it was very well appointed. The bathroom was excellent with a large stone tiled shower with very good water pressure. The wash basin was a cool acrylic design and at night, the light underneath the sink really showed the beauty of the design. The rooms were well insulated - we heard nothing from the neighboring rooms. The attached restaurant, Ill Convento’, served excellent, authentic Italian food. The vaulted ceilings and wooden furniture also fitted in well with the Convent/Monastery feel. The buffet breakfast in the Refectory was also plentiful and very good.

The step down from the bedroom into the bathroom along with the low vaulted ceiling was a challenge for my 2 meter tall husband. He came away with a few bruises but said it would not deter him from staying again.

Building was really cool, rooms were beautiful, view of the mountains was stunning, everything was clean. Breakfast was delicious

Parking is very tricky. The restaurant was very popular and after sight seeing all day there were not many spots left. I was asked to park across the street in a neighbors yard. And while I was grateful to have a spot it was very hard to back into. The breakfast was full-price for the children. it would be nice if their breakfast was discounted since they don’t really eat much.

What a strange and lovely place! I anticipated that this would be an old building, but it is actually new construction by a very playful architect. Thoughtful design and unique touches, such as a shower oil attachment (?) and water bed. Very comfortable lighting. We had a truly remarkable room and the space does transport you into another world. Would definitely recommend this unexpected hotel if you are staying near Rosenheim. Located in a neighborhood just outside of the center, but parking was free at the hotel.
