ibis Styles Stuttgart Vaihingen

Location was great for us visiting family in Vaihingen but in walking distance to train station. Booking.com booking had failed to register on the hotel system but they luckily had a family room available and honoured or original reservation. Breakfasts were fine - no gluten free options but good availability of oat or lactose free milk for my daughter. Very few tv channels were available and no English speaking but excellent wifi so my kids were able to stream some tv when we weren’t out and about.

The noise levels weren’t great at first floor. Air con didn’t seem to work efficiently despite high temperatures some days of our visits but when windows were open we could smell cigarette smoke and street noise quite intensely.

Rooms were a bit on the small side but comfortable. Bathroom and floors were perfectly clean but there were occasional stains on the walls; nothing too serious but it can easily be cleaned from time to time. Breakfast was rich with plenty of hot & cold selections. Very easy to reach Stuttgart city centre. Generally, a good choice to stay in.

Outside tables and chairs at the lobby/bar could be a bit cleaner.

Nice clean room with comfy bed and nice bathroom to stay in while we visited Stuttgart. Loved the coffee bar that also had hot cocoa. Close to a REWE market to grab food/snacks. the Sbahn 1 took us everywhere we wanted to go...

closer to sbahn with heavy luggage would have been helpful. If you only have carry on luggage and no snow then you should be fine. Would like breakfast to be included in the cost of the rooms like it was in the other hotels we stayed at around southern Germany. 26 euros for a couple is way too expensive to pay per day so we didn't.

This room was pretty good for the price. All the things you need of a room. Comfortable bed and minimal noise from the neighbors. I did not pay extra for the breakfast, but they had a very good german breakfast selection. Clean and put together like you would want.

No parking except for on the street. Made it a little bit of a pain to unload and check in. I was able to find parking each night on the street, but there is some walking and time spent looking.

Comfortable beds, clean, very close to metro station (name: Jurastrasse, line U3) from which you can go wherever (need one change because the line doesn't go to the center; reach airport in 20 minutes), good breakfast, facility in good state.

Little bit too cold in the room but heating system already off due to end of cold season. Closest restaurant 10 minutes walking. Wall in the room with signs. Two hairs on the bed linings (probably very unfortunate since it looks they care about cleaness)

Clean room and hotel, smiling and efficient staff, really well managed. Good position 3 minutes walk from Vaihingen Railway Station. Nice lobby with all day tea and some treats offered, really nice gesture.

Very small room. Book a double room only if going with your partner. If going with work colleagues, etc, book a single room. I do not even know if they can fit twin beds in there. Very small window. View to an office building. Low natural light. Room temp rather cold as I kept the thermostat on maximum but not much happened. The all-purpose shower gel/soap/shampoo was very low quality, had to use my own after getting itchy skin. Breakfast was just ok, only 2 hot options offered (omelette and some bacon which was good), a pancake option would have been great as not much desert is offered. Medium quality cold cuts, no cheese (only yellow one).

The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfy. The breakfast was very good with a good variety.

We are a family of 4 with 2 little kids, and I have requested two rooms with shared door which i read that exists, but unfortunately they didn't give it to us. We had to split and go back and forth everytime we needed something from our suitcases. We just stayed for one night that's why we didn't complain about it

Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Free fresh coffee and tea in reception. Great value for £50per night per room. Great location- 7 min walk to S bahn (S1,S2,S3 lines), 3 min walk to U bahn, 5 min to supermarket and fresh bakery. 20 min walk to Vsihingen centre restaurants.

Functional sparse furniture. No English language tv.

Cosy, clean biz hotel with all amentities as needed for weekend stay, good breakfast with terrace. Easy train access from airport, free car parking, quick self-checkout. Checkout was easily prolonged until 2:00pm upon our request (thanks). Location - we travelled for kids futball tournament organised nearby, but city center was easily reachable in just 10 minutes by S-bahn/U-bahn.

Breakfast offered great selection and food was very good. Hotel was clean, staff were lovely and found a solution for a slight room mix up very easily and efficiently. Would happily return to this hotel.

Only negatives were that the hotel is a little isolated in a 'commercial/office' area so restaurants are a 10-15 minute walk away. The other small thing is that the our room was above the bar which had a noisy group of people on the patio outside. Neither of these would prevent us from returning though.
