Amanvana Spa Resort, Coorg

Wonderful resort and a near perfect location. There's convenient access to the river with little nooks to sit strewn around. Easy access to most tourist spots and plenty of eating options including the excellent in-house restaurant. The rooms were plush with a beautiful private garden. The most remarkable bit though was the siren song of all the wildlife around us. We won't forget this trip in a hurry!

Only small niggle was that the rooms only have a bathtub. While well designed, it is a bathtub and it felt really bad to waste so much water.

Love the property, very nicely maintained. Beautiful skylit bathroom was the highlight of our room. Absolutely loved the spa! Best massage I’ve ever had. Thank You Amanvana for a fabulous birthday weekend.

Wish the location was a bit more secluded but it’s right in the middle of Kushalnagar. Although doesn’t matter once you’re inside the property since you feel like you’ve fallen through a rabbit hole and into a mysterious jungle! Also loved the River Cauvery flowing right through the resort.

A Cauvery river current inside the resort is delightful. Restaurant is well located by the pool, within trees and overlooking the Cauvery; multitudes of sitting arrangement. All the available options were briefed by the receptionist at check-in (including wifi password), and also provided pamphlet of available amenities and activities; this removed the hassle of getting to know the property, things were just handy. Quality of the amenities is nice. They have OnePlus TV inside the bunglows, you can just download any Andoroid TV app, login with your account and binge. You get disposable room chappals, shaving kit, comb. The quality of complimentary tea was also good. Overall, big thumbs up👍🏻

The amenities are well kept, overall landscaping is good. The nature trail attached to the property is a definite point of interest. The bungalows are very comfortable.

The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. The depth of the main pool was more than 4 feet which was odd as it basically meant it was inaccessible for kids up to 10 Yr olds - my son was definitely disappointed!

The location is too good and easy to reach. Cauvery river flows inside the property which adds to its natural beauty. The planning of bungalows and structural design is very good which gives ultimate privacy for guests. Overall a very good stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The TV connection, even though we wont go there to watch TV, but sometime you need it I guess.

Amazing facilities.. lot of greenery, poolside restaurant, riverside nature walk and cafe plus right on highway - very convenient from Mysore and only 30 mins from Madikeri.. Villa is also nicely decorated with large closet, beautiful bathroom with large roof window.. 😍😍🤩🤩

Nothing - everything is perfect about this resort..

the entire thing in amanvana is ultimate, if any couples wanted to go for a date amanvana is the best choice. the staff, amenities provided by resort and everything was absolutely fantastic and good but the one thing is there must be improvement in food especially the items which are in menu, the breakfast is nice.

Wifi was an issue occasionally. Front door of the bungalows could have more customer friendly locks.
