Krishna Prakash Heritage Haveli Hotel

Everything! This is a must stay when travelling to Jodhpur! The hotel is beautifully decorated in the signature colour. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is just perfect. Also a must is the cooking course provided by the hotel with the owner’s wife. This was my favourite activity in our whole journey. Normally I wouldn’t say this, but in this case book everything through the hotel. They get you the best deal and the best services. So, tours, the cooking course, transfer to a next destination etc.

There’s honestly nothing I didn’t like. Maybe the breakfast could be a bit more elaborate, but the masala omelet is delicious so no complaints there either. The only tip I could give is to provide a booklet in the rooms with more information on the services and costs. We used the laundry service and the cooking course, but if we had known more information we would’ve booked more through the hotel as the service was soo good.

We were very happy with our colourful, hand decorated simple room with an extensive balcony catching the afternoon sun. The food we ordered on room service was good quality, plentiful and surprisingly cheap (225 INR for a substantial Thali). It is located close to the fort and the charming Jaswant Thanda and a short walk from the Clock Tower area. The views from roof terrace are terrific but it was too cold for us to eat out, sadly. There are amusing murals in the public areas. Although slightly grotty, the area was quiet at night. All the staff were friendly, the restaurant staff especially.

The dining room is frankly shabby, as are the outdoor chairs and tables. The swimming pool is not nice and the murals next to it are offensive - explicit full frontal nudity for women but gents covered up. These were not amusing. We had difficulty getting a packed lunch for an early start, staff claiming we hadn't ordered it when we certainly had.

1. Bathroom like concrete big tub square clean and good but you have to climb. old people might find it difficult 2. Ventilation although atmosphere was pleasant. didnt feel need for it. but always prefrable to have open windows. 3. Travel and Tour bookings:- There is difference although good service is provided. forex . from outside if rate for car from jodhpur to jaisalmer is INR 3300/-. Hotel might charge INR 4000/-

A good place to stay in the old town of Jodhpur. Many attractions and cafes walking distance. All transport and tours can be arranged if needed. The staff were all very polite and attentive. We were even given a wonderful cake for our anniversary which was quite unexpected & extremely thoughtful.The room was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but the hot water and the water in general at times was totally inadequate as we experienced a bare trickle in the shower more than once. The restaurant was quite good. The breakfast was ok. The views of the fort and the gardens did have quite a nice ambience

The water delivery in the bathroom could be markedly improved.

With Mehrangarh Fort as the magnificent backdrop, Krishna Prakash Haveli was sublime. Nikhil the owner, was cordial and helpful. Tony at Reception was fantastic in showing us around. Even walked us all the way to the local market so that we don't lose our way. The rooftop restaurant with the first lit up in the background makes you feel like royalty. The room beautiful, ornate, clean with all creature comforts needed provided. Didn't want to leave. Definitely coming back. Truly a hidden gem of Jodhpur!

Getting to the haveli by a big car can be cumbersome as there are narrow lanes to navigate, but totally worth it.

The property is in the perfect location for everything in Bundi! In addition, when we arrived from the train station, our rickshaw driver knew this Haveli and it’s owner so it was easy to get to from the train! The family who runs this Haveli is lovely, and makes sure you have everything you need to have an amazing stay. The rooftop restaurant is definitely an attraction, and we spent quite a bit of time up there. The room was also incredible because the air conditioning and Teo fans kept the room nice and cold during 100 degree days! In addition, it was super clean, had high ceilings, had a balcony and felt huge! We can’t say enough good things about my stay here, we had the best time chatting with the owner and his family, and our stay was perfect!

I Like all in Jodhpur espacial this hotel. Room is great and View.. of mehrangarh they ask me why you come to Jodhpur I said this is my Anniversary. I already check out, but that day evening I want to take a shower before leave. (to Delhi) I asked them how much for taking a bath and towel. They give me for free, and let me use bathroom beside of swimming pool. when I finish taking shower I walk to counter can return towel they said wait a moment it's raining now tuktuk will send you to bus station , So I wait then Hotel Owner and his son (Mr.Tony) Bring Cake to me and husband and Say " Happy Anniversary " That's make me feel So appreciate.. I won't take any Photo of Mehrangarh night view because I told Tony I will be back Soon to see you and Mehrangarh I hope I might have more time.. 1 Day 1 Night is not enough

Beautiful authentic stay in an old haveli in Jodhpur. We stayed in a budget room, which was already a very cool experience with a very comfortable bed and a hot (but short) shower. The best: AMAZING view from the restaurant with AMAZING food. We actually had every meal (breakfast twice, lunch twice, dinner twice) at the restaurant as it was so good and also the best view to the fort. Very friendly staff helped us with laundry service and booking a private car to Jaisalmer.

Room and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.

Beautiful old Haveli in the old part of Jodhpur. The decoration was stunning. Beautiful murals everywhere. The staff were excellent and friendly with and arranged onward travel for me and rickshaws. The restaurant staff were very pleasant and always had great recommendations. There is a lovely rooftop area to eat and look up at the fort at night. The location is perfect. 10 min walk to the fort entrance and 5 mins to the clock tower. The hotel also has a shaded outdoor pool for swimming which is a great relief from the heat. The hotel provides a little oasis in the heart of the city.

There is a lot of renovation work going on at the moment so that could be a bit noisy at times. But I'm sure it will be beautiful when it is complete.

We stayed at Krishna Prakash for two nights while in Jodhpur and enjoyed our stay. There were many travelers there and it was great having a restaurant upstairs that served lunch and dinner. The view to the Fort was amazing! For being in the center of town, it was actually a quiet place to stay. We had no issues with noise and slept comfortably both nights. The room was clean and spacious and wifi worked well. We did have the hotel help with laundry and they returned it same-day.
