Radisson Hotel Varanasi

The buffet breakfast was nice, the spa gym and pool area was nice. The cookies and lemon water upon arrival was refreshing and lobby was very elegant and luxurious. The concierge people were very kind to us, the lobby lounge and bar was closed during to our visit so was the club lounge. The food was very good and the room service food was also tasty the hotel allowed outside food to be eaten in hotel premises. The rooms were spacious and elegant offering a city view. The hotel had sprawling lawns and was gated. The hotel had a banquet hall and 3 meeting rooms and really clean toilets with a spacious lobby. The hotel had a shopping arcade, library, business centre, a contemporary wine bar, a sophisticated specialty restaurant known in the city for its mouthwatering kebabs, and then East West the all day dining restaurant which featured a buffet during dinner and breakfast. During dinner there was also the option of dining a la carte, room service was available 24/7. There was also valet and enough car parking. The theme of the hotel was classy yet contemporary and elegant, with beautiful paintings hanging on corridors and decor representing of Varanasi. The stay was very cultural with local food options available in the breakfast buffet such as puri. There was also several hot dishes an egg station, a dosa station, multiple shakes and juices, fresh fruit a patisserie section. Everything was good quality they even offered masala tea! The AC in the room worked really well, and the room was fitted with high quality furnishings. We were even offered interconnecting rooms. The sauna and steam room along with gym offered a really nice tough, with the pool being temperature controlled, even though the property was showing a bit of age, it’s a must visit and value for money. It’s location is a bit far from the attractions but the experience makes it worth it.

Dining was very good Room initially was very dirty fungus behind the curtains and pigeon dump in windows but then the manager quickly changed us to a better room. I felt all these hotels tend to give the not so good rooms to online bookings

Too long check in with no queue at all. People were randomly being taken up or pushed in as per their request or lack of patience. We had to finally put a strong word to the receptionist that hv some courtesy towards people who were waiting even when they arrived way before than the people who were being catered

There was this worker who worked at the in-house Sari shop - Gaurav. I am so glad that I met this guy. He really went over and above to make my stay amazing. The hotel should appoint him has the tour guide for the hotel. He really takes such good care of you and makes certain that the local don't rob you or take advantage of you.

Location, room service, neatness.

Cramped entry. In morning exit door was close and my taxi needed to reverse significant distance No one was at reception in morning 4:30am. We were looking for some guidance to visit temples No one was to welcome and greet us at restaurant during morning breakfast. I have stayed in Radisson two more properties (Mysore & Indore) in the recent past. I paid highest for Varanasi one and found overall experience ranking at bottom. Not convinced that it was value for money g

The property was really a good hotel with a pool and small gym . It has two restaurants and a coffee shop ,a bar,as well as a gift shop . The restaurants offer a wide range of buffet items as well as the regular menu’s. The business room was spacious and had a good sized desk ,and a comfortable armchair . Our room was cleaned daily if we wanted it . Great for a trip for business . Their is a shopping mall close by with lots of shops and places to eat .

The property is a a few miles away from the Ganges and the ghats .

Efficient checkin staff, very courteous security & housekeeping staff, provided choice of pillows, excellent breakfast with helpful staff, a functional & spacious room, clean washrooms. Enjoyed our stay.

Must do comprehensive greening of area immediate outside the hotel, it was not clean and disappointing. Can provide bodywash liquid instead of the standard soap bar.

I liked our room attendant the most. he was so nice and polite, always wanted attentive with all our necessities and a big smile always wanted to help us out.

I didn’t like that the property was so far away from the Ganges. it’s a little drive to the River you can’t walk it, you have to take a taxi or a Tuk tuk

Was promised a 20 percent discount by booking.com on food and spa but was denied the same on food services by the hotel

The chef was very creative in cooking vegan menu. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The massage room was dirty and not hygienic. My wife and I were bitten by mosquitoes during the massage. This is not matching a 5 star hotel

Clean rooms and friendly and good personnel. Good service in the breakfast as well

Could do better at maintenance, as well its towels and bedsheet. They had stains.
