ASTON Kupang Hotel & Convention Center

First of all the welcoming , smiling and helpful staff makes you feel appreciated. The building is nice, clean and well decorated. It is a gem among other places around having a look and layout that is topical of international hotels. The room was clean and beautiful with amazing views to the ocean and the market down across the road. Wry comfortable bed and a good selection of tv channels. Room service is fast and they have a good selection of food in the menu. The top floor sky lounge is very nice and also is the gym and swimming pool which I am very pleased it didn’t smell like chlorine like most swimming pools. The spa is beautiful and they are very professional. I couldn’t get the massage I wanted because we booked only 2 days before our stay. I recommend booking your treatment with plenty of time in advance.

Some parts of the building are a bit run down and would need a bit of renovation. I understand is a hard weather for buildings but having a clean tidy look makes the place more comfortable. Also I didn’t like that the mosque is only a few blocks away and you get wakes up by the prayers . Is not a big deal but my sleep would have been 100% good if it wasn’t just for that. But again, is something I respect and tolerate as it is.

The Staff is the #1 best thing about the Aston! Also, room comfort and hotel location, worth getting a deluxe room for most amazing ocean views. This hotel is good value for the money.

A little attention needed...windows and surfaces are filthy, looking out at ocean view and theres smudges from noses, hands, ect.. all over the window surface, its unsanitary, also elevator hall windows, same. cleaning staff needs put more effort into it. maintanance...mini fridge always an issue. 3 changes finally got a working 1. Wifi struggles in my room...I had to use my own as too sporadic and slow pretty much unuseable. common areas around hotel ok.

From the first moment the friendliness and politeness of the staff was exemplary. The facilities and decor of the Aston were of a modern and quality finish, particularly for this region. The view from the rooftop of the sea and the city is fantastic. The Breakfast😍 was excellent, with a wide range of food and very attentive service. I must make a special mention, a Thank You, to Henny, whose service at the Lobby and Breakfast front desk was a highlight.

This is a good quality mid-range hotel. It was fantastic for the price. The room was clean, spacious, not too fancy but had ALL the amenities required. The staff were very helpful and nice. The undergorund parking was free and easy to access. The pool is good. It is a great location overlooking the seafront with BBQ fish stalls and a great fish restaurants 2 mins away across the road. Highly recommended

The ONLY thing is that the breakfast food was a bit poor. Bit cold in the tureens - why dont they find a way to keep the food hot? Selection a bit strange. The dim sums were terrible! If they are going to make an effort to serve a variety of dishes, at least make those dishes taste nice.

The hotel was in a convenient area where we could find good local restaurants and was beachfront. We drove around Kupang and from all the major hotels, this one seemed to have the newest amenities and best view.

We really did not like the food. The temperature or the way in which they keep the food at the buffets may be a bit problematic for westerners. There was a bit of mildew in the bathroom.

The location, the view, the staff was amazing. We stayed many times there and over the time the food, breakfast is just getting better and better. I recommend this hotel, its a great hotel to stay in Kupang.

The pool was hidden behind the back of hotel which it wont have much sun throughout the day. It missing out the beautiful view in the front and also not many comfortable chair to seat or laying down on.

This was one of the best stays I've ever had in a hotel. The deluxe room was so comfortable and the sea view was genuinely beautiful. The breakfast buffet was also delicious and so value for money. The staff were so helpful with their attractions and food recommendations, and even helped to buy moke

Comfortable and clean place to stay at a perfect location at the waterfront where the restaurants, cafes and nightlife are and close to convenience stores.

The shower area floor is not well sloped so the water from showering remains long after you have finished showering and needs to be swept into the drain maybe.

One of the best hotel in Kupang, the room has great sea view through the glass window. Also you can watch the sea from the bathroom while taking shower. Really nice set-up. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to stay when you are traveling to Kupang. The breakfast buffet was decent, the great thing is you can sit outdoor on the 2nd floor enjoying the view of Timor sea while having breakfast.

Always choose Aston when I travel to Kupang. Room is up spacious, clean, and comfortable. The aircon is easy to adjust. The bed is super comfy. The beach view from the room is amazing. Love the facilities (pool, gym) too
