Novotel Surabaya Hotel

That it's not like a any tall building kind of hotel. Everything is easy to access.

The wi-fi speed was on the low side (5 Mbps average) and it'd be nice if it was at least 50 Mbps. For travelers or maybe content creators a decent internet speed is a must. I don't know if the AC filter in my room has been serviced or cleaned but, thanks to it i've been coughing ever since. The room looks clean but it can be cleaner in some spots like under the bed, behind the tv, i saw some tapes on the wall, and etc. Overall i'd give my stay as a solo traveller 8.5/10

ALL staff fabulous and friendly.

I've stayed here many times before and this hotel holds many special memories for me and my family, but post-COVID it's needing a bit of love and care. Would love the pool-side pizzeria and kids' pool slide to return. The apartment block looks to be in need of some renovation. I hope it's just a matter of time before this lovely hotel returns to its best 😊

Beautiful hotel ,needs a little maintanance,pool mainly staff were excellent, they allowed us to check in early as my child was so tired, they were accommodating with all of our request, will definitely return, makasih novatel🙏😊

The swimming pool and outdoor area is very good for staycation with children.

The bed should be cleaner. And my child found an old sticker color on the floor below of the chair, maybe from previous guest or others, please check more detail. Also the cable of TV is plugged off when I come, so I have to plug it on before I turn the TV on, never found something like this before 😁

Staff, facilities etc was really good

There was a few mosquito’s and gecko’s in the rooms so it would have been nice for them to have been sprayed before we arrived

Great swimming pool, good breakfast, beautiful garden and good rooms.

The restaurant in the evening is very empty. There are no alcoholic drinks served.

The location is right in the city center and the room condition was clean. The staffs were polite and friendly. The check in/out process was very simple and fast

No lift to our room, the passage way lights were dimmed . The bathroom drain was cloged which made the shower water overflow into the room

We have been coming here for over 25 years. The layout, the gardens, and rooms are nice.

The breakfast has little or no western food

Always good to stay here, quick check-in, great pool & the eggs cooked outside for breakfast are the best sunny-side up eggs I've had anywhere in Asia. Never undercooked & never over cooked.

facilities, location, food, and staff were very friendly and excellent. The room were spacious

No bathtub. The shower doesn't have a pipe for us to take wudhu. It is better to change the towel, because it look really old.
