The Garcia Ubud Hotel & Resort

Beautifully decorated villas overlooking the rice paddies, very quiet location. Rooms, gardens and all public areas very clean and well maintained. Food at the Kaduna restaurant was amazing we ended up eating at the hotel most days it was so good. cocktails were really good too. the highlight for me were the staff, they were attentive, friendly and very professional.

sadly the small pool is full of moss altho my daugther still swims in it but its a bit slippery.. and the toys in the kidsclub need to be upgraded to more sustainable toys.. water in the room comes in a small bottle 😅 might be better if its bigger..

We had an amazing stay at the Garcia!! Everyone is absolutely lovely! The whole stay at the Garcia was perfect thanks to the great facilities, the room, the amenities, the food and the staff!! It is an intimate place, so everyday you will meet the same people at the restaurant, reception, spa and housekeeping, which makes the whole experience so much more personal, which we loved! The hotel is very clean and neat with a luxuriously zen vibe to it. We also want to thank Restu from housekeeping for his great service! He was incredibly professional, polite, and helpful. We lost one of our room key cards and he went above and beyond to find it for us! We cannot wait to stay at the Garcia again!

everything was perfect except for the TV in general. The audio & visuals were not the best.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The entire staff (special thanks to Cynthia, Adi and Japa the kitchen cook) was unbelievably kind and accommodating, the massage therapists were amazing (we recommend you get the deep tissue massage and the traditional Balinese massage), the bed and pillow were the comfiest, the room and bathroom were clean and nicely put together, the food and freshly-squeezed juices were SO GOOD (from breakfast to dinner), the pool was very nice (sun-beds and a waterfall - important to note that there are only a few hours of sun in the morning which was perfect for us as the sun is intense in Bali because we're so close to the Equator). We don't want to leave.

I stayed in both Deluxe room and Superior with pool access. Deluxe room was amazing - great view, no damp/mold smell, and quiet (liked it more than pool access room). Amazong shower and toiletries. The Spa in the hotel is incredible, it was the best Balinese massage I've had on Bali so far. The main pool is very nice and the property in general is very serene and perfect for a little getaway. The design is next level. Loved the breakfast - lots of options and everything was extremely good. The service is great. I would definitely return

Bed linens and towels sometimes had stains on them. Superior room with pool access had damp/mold smell sometimes and also had mold at places (like on the curtains). That extra pool wasn't very clean as water jets (or what they're called) were usually turned off or not working properly. I actually prefered the main pool that everyone can access - especially since it had sun beds which the "superior" pool did not.

The staff is really welcoming, always smiling and providing good insights on what to do in the area. One day we needed to leave the hotel very early to catch a ferry, the staff offered right away to have our breakfast packed to take it with us. The hotel itself is beautiful, the restaurant overlooks a big garden with trees which makes for a wonderful scenery while eating. We also tried their spa services, wonderful relaxing moment. More than recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a quiet part of Ubud in a beautiful setting.

Garcia Hotel is great! Comfortable, nice bedroom, beautiful view, great breakfast, great pool and nice staff! Recommend it!

Is not close to Ubud center. But they have a van with no extra cost that takes you to the city center and back in specific times of the day. We had bad luck with our room. The room was great and comfortable but there was a family of cats living in the ceiling. We told the staff about it many times and it wasn't solved. I actually think there wasn't an easy way to take the cats out. But still it was very frustrating to wake up in the middle of the night with the kittens crying. Maybe ask for a room that is not on that last floor and you won't have any problems.

The hotel is beautiful and relaxing! All staff are so lovely and always happy to help! They booked multiple things for us to do as we wasn’t sure who best to book with! Even the elephant experience the night before! Breakfast was the only meals we ate here but was lovely every morning (I’m not a breakfast person but got up specially!). They also offer a free shuttle into Ubud throughout the day which is walking distance to the monkey forest and all the restaurants. This was perfect for going out for going out for dinner and a couple of drinks. Would 100% stay here again should we return to Ubud! Thank you so much!
