Sofia Boutique Residence

I love everything about this hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Mas Bayu is an amazing GM, My husband and I are impressed with his communication skills and for sure, he can be nominated to be one of the best staff ever. I recommend you to visit this Hotel for its uniqueness, its tasty breakfast, and all dine-in menus. It's a little pricy but you will not be disappointed with the high-class and elegant services. I definitely will come back to this Sofia Boutique Residence when I visit Yogyakarta.

It's only a minor thing actually not a big deal. It's still acceptable. The coordination among staff should be solid.

I was surprised to see the hotel, not expecting the hotel will be so elegant and beautiful. Location is not in the main road, so no car noises. Very peaceful. They have ample parking spaces. I like that it has only 20 rooms, so a lot of privacy . The room interior is even look more expensive than 5 star hotel. Big spaces , high ceiling, and good coffee machines. Bed is comfortable. If I come to yogya, i would definitely thinking of staying here again and hoping they will already up the service quality overall.

The toilet rain shower was broken, but since they also have hand shower so for me it doesn't matter. One minus point for me is the shampoo and soap. Packaging looks so cheap..and quality is also not so good. For hotel that already have rooms like this , i expect same standard for everything. Maybe it will be better if using a proper shampoo and soap bottle attached to the shower room. Also for me personally, the free mini bar is a waste. Better don't give free mini bar instead give better quality of amenities. The food in the restaurants is average. Waiter seems not properly trained for this kind of hotel standard.

I love the hotel, the location, the room, the bed, and their beauty. The bed is big, comfortable. The mattress and the pillows are not too soft and they meet my expectations. The air conditioner is also excellent, and I have a room with a balcony that face a nice view.

The internet connection is very bad! For two nights in a row I had to use the office internet connection because they allowed me to do so, but some websites, including YouTube, are banned. On the second night when I complained about the internet connection, the receptionist promised me to send somebody to my room to fix the problem, but the help took forever to come to my room.

Room design was spectacular and huge, never seen anything so elegant and instagram worthy! Definitely worth a visit in this hotel. Friendly staff who are able to put an effort to help around despite a slight language barrier.

Location probably kinda secluded inside due to its residential area. If you need to, drop by a convenience store nearby before going back to your hotel. Other than that, everything else was great!

We were there to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary, looks like it's a new hotel as the surroundings were empty. Room was fantastic much to our liking. Staffs were friendly and nice.

Nothing to dislike.

Very nice and spacious room with a unique look in gold and black. Very good beds. Staff is very serviceminded and helpful. If clear weather view of Gunung Merapi from the balcony.

The hotel is a bit far from the main attractions in Yogyakarta but location is fine for a day trip to Borobodur and Prambanan.

Room design is very good. It's big space of room, bed was comfort. Overall hotel design is excellent

Water heater was not really sure if it's working or not - the water in bathroom not hot.

The staff very helpful, kind, friendly. Mr. William very patient and informative with the hotel facilities. Design is adorable, Victoria style.

cleanliness in the shower needs to be improved, especially the drain.
