It was obvious that Gianni and Philippa took great pride in their home and the service that they offer. They were both exceeding helpful and thoughtful. Philippa prepared a wonderful breakfast every morning and was on hand in case we needed anything extra. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Our room was immaculate with clean modern furnishings. The bed was large and comfortable as were the pillows (I think they were memory foam). The bathroom was large and modern. The outside space was also kept extremely clean and tidy. The swimming pool was fantastic, clean and large. This is the perfect place to unwind.

We were slightly disadvantaged by not having a car.

Clean modern rooms with plenty of space and very comfy bed like you would find at home not in a B&B. Pool was beautiful and immaculate perfect for swimming, playing and relaxing. The family who run this B&B are wonderful, welcoming and become your family. It was really difficult to leave them as we will miss them very much.

Had expected to be able to walk more places but given the heatwave in Sicily this was not possible so ended up hiring a car. This is not the properties fault but there are not the trains and taxis I had anticipated. Not a problem just something worth noting if you prefer not to drive abroad.

Everything was just perfect. The welcome was great. Parking just in the front of the building is 100% safe. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. Everything starting with room furniture, tv (big flat Samsung), or bathroom endowments are very modern, new and showing good taste. Air conditioning available which is very useful during Sicily summers. Great breakfast, cakes/gems bio and house made. A strong point is the swimming pool - 15m long and about 6-7 m wide, at least. Being permanently heated, water is perfect all the time. The pool is available 24 out of 24h. Such a perfect pool can not be easily found, in fact for us was for the first time and we've took full advantages of it. But the most important is the quality of the owners. Gianni and Philippa are fantastic persons, they are so kind and just willing to meet all your expectations. Moreover, Gianni advised us to not miss the Etna park trip and facilitate us to to do the tour having a very skilled guide. One can instantly feel is not just a simple business, but a business driven by passion, kindness and all efforts in providing top class services to customers. We did a Sicily tour, we accommodated in few other places (Palermo, Agrigento..), but Marty luxury displays the highest level, as far. We fully recommend it! Gianni and Philippa, thank you so much for everything. I'm sure we'll meet again.

Absolutely nothing. Or may be the photos could have been more suggestive, in reality everything (pool included) looks much better.

Great value for money (we paid 115 eur per night in june)- everything is new and super clean; loved the pool&jacuzzi; breakfast is also very nice ; hosts were very polite and let us check in earlier and stay a bit longer after check out time! Also, the parking is free in front of the house.

We loved everything! Just not sure if it would be a convenient location if you don t have a car-so check it out before booking. With a car it is great-if you go to Taormina leave your car at Porta Catania parking (the cheapest and closest to city centre)

Staying in the Marty Luxury Hotel means not only staying in a B&B, but also shortly joining Filippa and Gianni's family; they have been always careful with our requests from all points of view, and for this we thank them. We were also personally driven by Gianni with his car, really appreciated. 8 minutes away from Calatabiano central station (from here, 50 min to Catania and 20 min to Taormina by train), 2 km from the beach, the structure looks like a completely remodelled small villa with a private heated swimming pool and whirlpool. The rooms have a modern and refined style, equipped with all comforts, air conditioning, a large and comfortable bed, selection of pillows. The cleanliness is truly impeccable, Filippa makes a tremendous amount of energy into keeping everything neat and clean. Not a trace of dust. The continental breakfast is personally prepared by the owners with unique points of distinction such as citrus jams and delicious croissants (non-commercial), and a wide choice between sweet and savoury. For foreign tourists. Gianni is a polyglot and the inhabitants of Calatabiano are kind, patient and always available to everyone even if they don't speak Italian. If you find yourself passing through Calatabiano or you want to have a place of peace, but at the same time well-connected to the Greek Taormina, the chaotic Naxos, the wild goddess Etna, and enjoy the marvel of the Sicilian land and its splendid inhabitants, consider to stay here.

Gianni and Filippa are the most generous of hosts. They not only provided top quality accommodation and breakfast, but they provided excellent dining recommendations and made bookings on our behalf. I cannot speak highly enough of the lengths to which they so generously went to provide the highest level of service. Great location to split time between Taormina and Mt Etna.

It was the best B&B we have ever been. Giovanni and his wife are really lovely people. If you have a car it is a perfect place to stay. There is enough space to parc your car in front of the Hotel and Taormina, Naxos or the Etna are not far away to visit. The breakfast was also really tasty. Many selfmade food for example the applecake, sandwiches or the jelly was made of fruits from the own garden.

Our room was next to the breakfast area, and it was a bit noisy in the morning. there are no shops on foot distance, you need to take the car.

Some flexibility on breakfast times would be nice, latest time is 9.30 and on holidays we like to sleep a little later

Fresh renovation, perfect facilities, good breakfast with various options. The host is super nice and responsive. The pool area is also cool. Taormina is very close, 10 min by car

No own parking place, only public parking nearby (although there are always free places)
