Albergo Terminus

Check in was great and they have parking on site. Our room was ready when we checked in a bit early which is always so helpful. The room was great, actually a small suite so we had lots of room and the bathroom was excellent. We had a view of the piazza next us, the ferry terminal and lake from our window. The maid service was among the best ever. They did a great job and seemed to know exactly when to show up - as well as turn down service. The breakfast was great, and the service even better. A great stay.

This hotel is lovely. The staff are exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The hotel has the most wonderful aroma everywhere and all of the time. The scent is so calming. The location is excellent, you can see the ferry from the room, but it is also quiet. Our room was very comfortable, clean and had a lake view. Breakfast was amazing!

I really can't say anything negative other than there is some construction going outside the hotel, but honestly, there's a lot of construction in the area. It is progress and necessary. It really didn't bother us.

The location in Como is excellent. 2min walk to ferry, 5 min to center of old town. Plenty of restaurants and bars near by. The hotel is 5 min taxi ride from Como San Giovanni train station, cost around 7 Euro, don’t risk the wheels on your luggage to walk on the cobble stones! The room was lovely (324) with partial view of the lake and was kept cool all day and night from the summer heat. The restaurant served beautiful Italian food at comparable prices to other restaurants. The staff are helpful and friendly and spoke several languages well.

There was a rattle in the air conditioning when we first walked into our room but once we turned it to low the rattle stopped. We were still kept comfortable and cool. I must admit I forgot to mention the rattle to staff as it was no longer a problem for us.

We were blown away with this lovely hotel. We were greeted by very friendly staff on arrival and were told that both of the rooms we had booked had been upgraded. Our daughters room had a spectacular view over the lake. The breakfast is served in the most magical room i have ever seen. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Lake Como

Wifi wasn't great

The hotel was very comfortable with very friendly reception. The breakfast was amazing with very attentive staff.

The only down side was the construction work on the lakeside across the road from the hotel. Nothing to do with the hotel but hopefully the work will be completed soon so I can return !

Beautiful property, excellent stay thank you location perfect on lakeside, entire team extremely friendly.. nothing too difficult. Wonderful restaurant on site. Perfect for short get away

Breakfast could be more tasty

We loved the location. Right on the lake with the old town behind it. The entrance patio and entrance had a charming old world feel about it, as did the whole hotel. The Lobby always smelled wonderful. We reserved a room that was advertised as having a partial view of the lake and it did. This was lovely. Our room was very nice. We had welcome fruit and a Prosecco waiting for us. The closet had enough room and hangers for two. The shower was very good. Breakfast was tasty, with a large selection of items to chose from. It was served in a lovely covered terrace overlooking a stunning outdoor terrace. The wonderful outdoor terrace facing the lake thad a profusion of Jasmine in full bloom, used even for shading the outdoor lounge areas. A real treat.

They don’t change the sheets every day. One person at the front desk was very confused which was very much in contrast to the rest of the staff, which was wonderful.
