Hotel Alexander

The size of the rooms, the area is really quiet and nice. I asked for quiet room when I was booking, and they really gave me the quietest room at the end of the hall.

The receptionist is really unpleasant and genuinely not interested in helping. On the last day, we asked where the bus from Venice to Treviso airport was leaving, and they gave us the wrong spot. They were clearly not sure but just wanted to get rid of us. Luckily we double-checked this before we left. The bed is hard The noise from the water pipes The breakfast and the coffee were really disappointing.

Phenomenal breakfast. The room was very clean.

We weee unable to control our own A/C tempature. The front staff wasn’t very friendly or attentive. They didn’t even look up when we walked into the lobby.

I was really happy with hotel Alexander. It was a nice hotel, good breakfast with a lot of choice. Nice staff that speak also English. It is close to Venezia center - by tram approximately 10-15 mins. The tram stop is very close - you can buy tickets for trams in Tabaccheria or in hotel San Giuliano - that is next to hotel Alexander. 1 ticket costs 1,5 euro. Nearby hotel are very good restaurants for good price. For italian food I recommend Fabbrica In Pedavena Mestre and surprisingly there is very good japanese restaurant next to it called "Kyoto Ristorante Giapponese". Also vegetarian or vegan restaurant (don't remember exactly) is in the same street as these restaurants.

The location was wonderful for us. We dropped off our luggage, returned the rental car at the airport, visited Venice, and took the bus back to the hotel. We didn't eat there. The lady at reception helped us order a car for the morning to take 6 of us to the airport. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is very nice. The bathtub was great. It was a quiet hotel.

There didn't seem to be much to do that was within walking distance. There weren't many restaurant choices nearby.

Very helpful staff, clean facilities, good location if you are going to Venice by train/car. We were late for breakfast but still got permission to grab some food from the table before restaurant was closed, and we really appreciated it! Bed was good and comfortable.

Our bathroom floor was flooded every time we took a shower 😅 sh!t happens, I’m sure it’ll get fixed in no time. Haven’t found any blankets in the room, sheets only, but it’s probably possible to ask on reception. Small things, mostly all was good.

The receptionists were really helpful and polite. It is located near a bus station, as well as a 5 min walk to the tram station. Room is really clean. It’s a good value for money

The hotel doesn’t have the standards of a 4 star hotel ( old design). The rooms are not well isolated as you can hear the noises from the other rooms. In the room was quite cold ( we asked the receptionist to increase the temperature and he helped us, unfortunately with only 1 degree)

We spent one night at the Hotel Alexander, but it was an unforgettable, positive experience. First of all I should mention that access to the hotel is very easy if you come from the highway, secure parking (we had 3 e bikes with us on a carrier. Our car battery died before we arrived at the hotel. Somehow we managed to get to the hotel, of course a little stressed as we didn’t know how we will continue our trip the next day, but upon arrival, a friendly front desk staff in perfect English “fixed”the battery failure for us within 10 minutes. Unbelievable!!! They picked up the phone, got the mechanic on line… Otherwise, it turned out that we did not need it, but the helpfulness and friendliness outweighed everything !The hotel is also perfectly located to visit Venice (there is a tram stop nearby and a bus stop not far away).What initially seemed like an unpleasant experience with the car ended in a positive and memorable visit to Venice. We will come back to you again. Thank you very much for everything! The breakfast was excellent

Nice spacious and clean room, excellent staff. Great breakfast. Staff allowed us to leave our luggage on our last day so we could explore a bit more which was a great plus, as well as provided tips on how to get to Venice and to the airport. Location is in a good place just a short tram ride away from Venice.

No kettle in the room for tea or coffee. Not a lot of breakfast options for vegans/lactose free customers.

The property is in a fantastic location without staying in Venice itself. It was such good value for money, rooms a nice size with great bathroom. Bus and tram stop for airport and directly into Venice could not be closer.

There could have been more hot food choice on offer for breakfast, however the coffee was A+!
