Hotel Ercolini & Savi

Enough choices for breakfast. The employees - superiors and employees at breakfast talked a little too loudly and the relations between them were strict and tense, which was felt on the employees - especially at breakfast. Parking near the hotel is a little harder on Friday night and Saturday night - about 500 meters away from the hotel there was enough space.

Tension among employees at breakfast. To ask me randomly on the first day for a room number I understand. To have the same person ask me the next day, at breakfast again - OK. But to ask me on the third and fourth day, I don't understand, as if I'm someone from the street who would like a free breakfast? Have a receptionist who should record who’s where at breakfast, not raise your voice behind me where someone belongs.

We appreciated help with storing our bags and then delivering them to our room. Also, the staff was helpful in trying to contact the thermal baths in Montecatini.

This is not the fault of the hotel but the Termi Redi would not let us enter the thermal baths even though we were there 45 minutes before closing. Sundays the baths close too early at 2 pm. On Mondays the baths are listed on their website as opening at 7 am but they did not open until 11 am. We ended up missing the hot spring baths all together. The whole reason that we went to this town was to soak in the hot springs so were were deeply disappointed.

Great location, lovely hotel with a very helpful staff. The room was comfortable and the service was good. Our breakfast was exceptional with a great variety of food. The staff was friendly and eager to help. We were able to walk all over Montecatini from our hotel, and it was a short walk to the train. We hope to have another chance to stay here.

We chose Hotel Ercolini & Savi as the first accommodation for our honeymoon in Tuscany and it was the best choice. The hotel is located in the center very easily accessible by train. The service was impeccable, the staff always kind and willing to help you with any information, the room was clean and spacious, while the breakfast and the food served in the restaurant La Pecora Nera was delicious. It was a very pleasant experience.

Everything was pleasing...the staff was helpful, professional, understanding, and were able to communicate in English. We were able to check in early and change to a room with a bathtub. We were lucky enough to park in front and they did a three day parking pass for us online. All easy. This truly beautiful hotel is located in a charming neighborhood within short a walk to everything including shopping, restaurants, spas and the town hall/art museum, not to be missed, surrounded by parks.

Breakfast choice and quality good ( especially liked the Bee Pollen) good location. Front desk staff helpful.

Had a sign in room to hang on door if cleaning not required. Used twice and it was ignored- room was cleaned, not a problem but remove the choice if going to ignore sign.

Air conditioned rooms. The stay was in July so very hot, the room was a welcome refuge in the middle of the day. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the desk staff regarding advice about the area.

My only complaint would be the step up into the bathroom because I kept stubbing my toe. I think that might be standard though I'm not sure. Everything else was exactly as I would expect in a good hotel.

The staff was helpfull and paid attention to all details. We were travelling with kids and they were specifically attending to their needs as well as ours.

The building is older so you could hear noises from the floor while stepping though the room also the ventilation system was a bit noisy. But this would not really be a reason for us not to go back anymore.

The location was really good....easily walkable to train station, shops and restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip in Italy. The room was grand, spacious, clean and comfortable.

A lovely hotel with Old World charm. Our room was extremely comfortable and everything was close by so we could walk everywhere. Breakfast was exceptional and attended to by a warm and friendly staff.
