Hotel Torino

Although a bit "essential" (expected for an hotel situated in an old building, though), the room was comfortable, very clean, tidy, equipped with all the standard facilities. The staff were very professional, kind and helpful. The location was great: in the core of the city center basically in front of the Teatro Regio.

Breakfast was fair. I wasn't expecting a full English breakfast of course, and the options provided were more than adequate. However, the standard of the food could be improved (especially the coffee and the juices).

Lovely hotel, an excellent breakfast (especially the chocolate pie was delicious). The staff was kind, the room was clean, water pressure was good. Nothing to complain at all :) I stayed for work and took a mental note to always stay at Hotel Torino when I go to Parma I don't know if all staff speak English (since I am Italian), but I saw one of the staff members during breakfast helping an old couple that does not speak Italian and was trying to use the juice maker, and she was really focused on helping them, trying to understand the questions and trying to talk in English with them, which was sweet to see. Very good customer service!

Fantastically located in a charming alley full of niche shops, just one minute by foot from the Pilota Complex with its museums and the restored Farnese Theatre (<-- a must - see!). Gated parking beneath the hotel, where the staff deftly rearrange the cars to maximize use of space, gives us great calm and flexibility when stopping by Parma for a night midway along our route to Southern Italy....in spite of a packed car. €25 per day is fine for peace of mind, and there _is_ very affordable public parking behind the nearby police station as an alternative.

If I had to find something to remark upon, it would be that the enclosure of the shower stall (room 102) was hard to juggle into place in a way that keeps the water in when showering vigorously.

The staff was very helpful, they even helped driving the car out of the tricky parking spot. Everything was explained very clear, also how to get there by car. The room was clean, tidy and had all the necessary items. The location of the hotel is really excellent, in the middle of the centre.

We did hope for a bit more fresh fruit and other options at breakfast. Breakfast was mostly meat, cheese, and sugary things. Including an array of prepackaged Italian cookies. They had fruits, but they were a bit old.

Unique personal, very clean and pretty room nr. 505 in la maison building. No view but the opposite house and their windows. Our room had 6 sections, corridor, tiny room with coffee maker, dressing section, bed section, desk section and bathroom. Loved the juice machine at breakfast, I could make my own fresh juice of carrots and apples 👍🏼👍🏼 Bathroom is good and well divided.

Breakfast room is too small! Had to wait by the door step to get a free table because all tables were taken in both our mornings. No armchair in the room. Only place you could sit was on the bed or on the metallic office chair. On the other hand the bedroom part is so narrow that there is no space for an armchair. The key holder of the room is annoyingly large. Does not fit in a small bag. We had 2 keys in the holder but nobody told us what the other key was for. Didn’t find a minibar from the room 🤷‍♀️

Great location for everything. Nice room with a sunny balcony. Nice and helpful staff in the reception. Called us a taxi often and it arrived very fast to the front door. Good breakfast with good varity.

No fridge in the room. Too hard bed and pillows. Rude woman working in the breakfast, hope she can learn from the helpfull and smiley reception staff.

The location was convenient for sight-seeing. The breakfast was good and offered several healthy options. The juicer was a great addition to the breakfast!

The staff was just so-so. From check in to the breakfast staff they were less than interested in us or providing much information at all. Our room was very small and cramped. and the shower was tiny and the water would soak the floor even with the door closed.

Central location and friendly and helpful 24 hour reception Very compact single rooms but ideal for a short stay at a great price. Very handy to have breakfast served on the premises over new years when many venues are closed

The first room I booked had a broken thermostat and was way too hot but the lovely Elena immediately got a new room for me. Brilliant customer service.

The hotel is clean and nicely styled, my room was contemporary and kept to a new-looking standard. The location is perfect, with easy reach to everything. All the major sites are within a few feet to minutes. Restaurants, shops and the hub of life in a nice street. The room I had was a single bed, the size of the room had enough space to move around with a lovely window looking onto the street below. The bathroom was compact and clean, maintained and enough for me. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, I didn't have breakfast but had a peek, it was a lovely bright room, set out to cater to you, actually wish I had stayed for breakfast. It's the perfect place to base yourself in a nice hotel.

Very well located little hotel in the middle of Parma - everything is walking distance from there. They have their own parking that you can book for 20€/day (it's a bit tricky to get there but they have a sheet with instructions they send to their guests via the Booking.com messaging). The crew were super helpful during check-in, check-out, and when we had some issue with our car and needed to clean the trunk.

The bathroom has a shower cabin, but it is well furnished. A lot of pics don't exactly correspond to the hotel proper, but probably to the (a bit more luxurious) part they have across the side street.
