B&B Lucio e Lili

Lili is super nice and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed having a chat over breakfast and coffee despite the language barrier. The room was spacious and it included a balcony, it was clean and everything looked so nice. The cornetto and cappuccino for breakfast were very tasty! The location is amazing, so close to everything both in terms of Salerno and visiting the Amalfi coast (Thank you Lili for recommending us to visit Vietri sul Mare!) Overall very good value for money.

The pull-out sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable and squeaky and the shower pressure was a bit low.

1. Central location, close to the station and also right in the heart of the city. 2. Lili is a wonderful host, very kind and helpful. She gave us suggestions about places to visit and restaurants to eat in. 3. The house has a selection of antique items, which look lovely. 4. Lili made a good breakfast for us. 5. Lili only speaks Italian but this was not much of a problem as we could use translation apps to communicate.

Everything! Location is a 10 (especially if you’re thinking of visiting the amalfi coast), Lili is suuuper nice, very attentive, she makes you feel like you’re at home and helps you with any question you have. The room is clean and so is the bathroom. The access to the building is quite simple. We would definitely stay here again.

Lili is such a lovely host, and the apartment is very comfortable and clean. Shared bathroom with other guest but this was not a problem. The apartment location is perfect for all tourist activities I did, and Lili was very helpful with advice of how to get around. King single sized bed and pillows were very comfortable. Single room has enough space to do some yoga. Breakfast was yummy, and Lili was very attentive to ensuring it was at the desired time each morning.

I enjoyed Lili's place: she is very welcoming and she accommodates guests requests. She offers breakfast and she has homemade jam and croissant. The place is next to the seaside and the city center. Despite being closed to restaurants, bars and very trafficked streets my room was very quiet and I could sleep with the window open.

The room size was very small and there wasn't a closed to store my stuff, so I couldn't unpack my luggage...for a weekend is manageable, but not the best for a longer stay.

Every single thing about this accommodation was wonderful. The apartment is at the perfect location - on one side close to the central train and bus station, and on the other side to the city center and port. The place is also at a great location to depart from for a trip to Amalfi coast. The room is spacious, decorated with lots of antique art pieces. In fact, the whole apartment features old-style italian furniture and art, making you feel like in an art gallery! The property serves typical italian breakfast, with many home made products (jams are especially tasty) prepared by the host, Lili, whose warm and pleasant personality additionally complements the stay. Her caring spirit made me feel like at home, particularly when she packed me fruits to take for a trip :) I genuinely recommend this accommodation if you’re coming to Salerno, and would be eager to visit Lili and the beautiful scenery again.

Had a super nice stay at B&B Lucio e Lili. Lili was an amazing host. I didn’t speak Italian and she didn’t speak so much English but everything worked out perfectly fine.

Great location, nice room, the sweetest host, breakfast was the best I have had in my two weeks in Italy.

The host only speaks Italian, even though the app suggests English is a possibility. This meant that it was very difficult to communicate, and it made it a little uncomfortable to live in the home of a woman, that I was almost unable to communicate with (I know basic Spanish, where some words are similar, and that helped).

Everything was perfect, Lili’s hospitality is over the top. Made me feel like I was at home, starting with the breakfast and also with the tips she gave me on what to visit around Salerno. I will definitely come back!

I felt the need of an air conditioner, but overall was okay

Perfect location with many restaurants, bars and shops nearby, very welcoming host(even though we don’t speak the same language), beautiful home decoration, clean house, and there is a terrasse in my room!
