we just spent 6 weeks traveling through southern Europe and without a doubt this was the best hotel we stayed in. We loved the location . just outside of Lecce it was the perfect base to explore the heel of Italy . the town itself is historic and we spent many evenings just walking around and absorbing it . The hotel itself is beautifully designed and very comfortable. We stayed on the top fooor in a studio with a huge private terrace. bed was great and the view across the rooftops was fantastic. The hosts are amazing . when we arrived Lila brought us a fresh bowl of cut up melon and salty snacks. So friendly, Dario answered all our questions and recommended several restaurants and even the best beach . the pool is small but so relaxing to sit and read and cool off . I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We definitely will return.

my only complaint is the Internet was a bit sketchy on the top floor. Definitely recommend a booster for the upper floors .

Distilia Dimora is a delightful, gem of a place in a small town just outside of Lecce. It was quick and easy to get to Lecce for visits but we loved the peaceful surroundings of Distilia Dimora. We were really well looked after by our hosts and Dario suggested and booked some great restaurants for us and recommended some fantastic things to do. There are plenty of different spaces for guests to enjoy such as rooftops with views of lovely buildings and neighbouring fruit trees as well as the pool and garden area. Our room was very spacious and clean with a well appointed kitchen. We can highly recommend this wonderful, friendly and special little hotel.

The property was beautiful, all features had been sympathetically restored and the heritage of the property was clearly visible but with all the modern facilities you would need. Lilia and Dario were beyond brilliant as hosts - beautiful people who couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. We will definitely recommend to others!!

Nothing, just not being able to stay longer!

The friendliest hosts ever! So much attention and help! We enjoyed our stay and used all the facilities in the building! Great design and big rooms, it looks as good in real life as on the pictures. Sauna and jacuzzi were a pleasant bonus! All in all it was a perfect place to spend our holiday.

Everything was great, no complaints

We loved everything. This place should be called a palace! We occupied the ´genziana ´ room which was a very spacious modern and so nicely furnished room with a huge terrace. We had the chance to visit the other apartments’ and the spa area and we were amazed by their luxury level and nice looking of all spaces. Lilia, the vey nice hoster, shared her design passion, and she can be proud as it is gorgeous everywhere, from the entrance to the swimming pool and the top areas. The breakfast itself is very delicious, complete and various. This place was the best one of our stay and we will for sure recommend it!

the Distilia is an incredible beautifully and carefully renovated building. It embrace all the magic and mixture of the historical part of Apulien. This place is very unique.

It is important to have a car. Apulien is not made for public transportation. And if you have a car, I guess parking would be the next burden. Or just to have some good books and enjoy the magic of the building and small town.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very well designed. The private balcony area was really nice and we had dinners there with a lovely sunset views of Lecce. Highly recommend this place

Clean and as expected! Room was spacious and the village where it was located was nice. We were received by Dario, friendly and great help.

The lady host does not make you feel welcome.

It is our 2 time in dimora. The house is awesome, the pool area is well designed, the breakfast is exellent! The host is very welcoming and helpful! Lilia we miss you already! Thank you!

Probably the most beautiful and original design of a accommodation we’ve stayed in. Beautiful evenings on the rooftop. 15 mins to Lecce by car. We wish we could stay longer.
