Hotel Le Colline

The receptionist also spoke German! The room was comfortable with a small terrace. It had AC and a small fridge. The hotel had a swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool water didn't smell like chlorine that much which is good. The breakfast is very sweet, that is apparently custom here but if you don't like that you will not enjoy it that much. There was enough parking space at the hotel and across the street. You have a great view of the hills of Tuscany!

It's right next to the street and the cars go very fast. You can not walk anywhere from there since there are no sidewalks. This is not the hotels fault and not a big deal, just wanted to mention it so others know what to expect. This seems to be custom here in Tuscany.

the very friendly staff the great breakfast and beautiful way to San Gimignano which takes you 30 minutes to get there but the views are awesome!

The staff at Le Colline couldn’t have been any more helpful, they went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The pool is a perfect size for the amount of guests and there’s a fridge nearby where you can grab a drink to have poolside, for minimal cost. The breakfast is served in a decent enough window that you can have a reasonably early start, or a bit of a lay in!

When we went it was in the high 30s, so the AC in the room was struggling a little bit, but not enough to disturb our sleep.

The staff were really friendly and the pool was delightful. A real homely feel with touch of luxury. A easy walk into San Gimignano and bus stop right outside to access close by train stations. Breakfast was great, fabulous selection to get the morning started. The onsite restaurant is fantastic as well, very authentic and the best pasta ragu ever. Loved my time there and will be back!

There are lots to like about the Hotel Collins.From when you first walk in and are met by receptionist Valentino who along with the other receptionist were both so friendly.We had a room at the front on the ground floor,which was great,and the view from out on the balcony was lovely Both nights we were there we ate in the Restaurant,both meals were exellent It is only Five minute drive into the village,but take note,the car parks fill up quickly. It is a perfect location to visit other well known Tuscan towns Would certainly recommend this hotel if in the area

Situated close to the city by car. If you're up for it, I would def. recommend the walk from the hotel up into the olive-fields to the city - what a view!!! Wow! Nice room with a fairly big bathroom and a balcony. Swimmingpool was okay, and breakfast was decent with the usual croissaints, yoghurt and orangejuice. Staff was primarily welcoming.

The hotel was a little too standard for my taste. I think I was expecting it to have more of a tuscan vibe, but it felt a little outdated.

Excellent location close to San Gimignano. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - particularly those on reception. Rooms were spacious and had the benefit of a balcony with views of the countryside. There was a restaurant next door with really tasty food and a good selection of local wines. There was plenty of parking adjacent to the hotel.

The pool was closed during our stay - apparently, there had been storms before we arrived. It opened on the day we were leaving.

The room has everything that is needed, it's clean and there is a nice bathroom. The hotel is located nearby the city, but a car is highly recommended. Walking distance is around 20 minutes. Parking lots are available. The staff is really helpful and COVID-rules are followed strictly, especially at the breakfast. Quality for price is absolutely fair!

The design / interior is a little older, but still in a good / usable shape. Nothing else to complain about!

Pool and surrounds were very pleasant. Front desk staff were helpful. Room was large and comfortable.

Would have hoped that given we were staying at the hotel we would be given priority for booking dinner at the restaurant. Wouldn't even accommodate us outside the restaurant on the terrace. Ended up having to walk 400 m down the main road to another hotel to get dinner.

Great pool, room was a good size, staff very helpful. Nice walk into town behind the hotel. Free parkin!

Drinking water would be nice or even tea and coffee making, but water would be super helpful!
