Hotel Garden

This hotel was amazing. It had a buffet breakfast with absolutely anything you wanted (the coffee was amazing and there was fresh orange juice). There were lots of places to sit down and relax outside in case you want to read or get some work done. The people at the front desk were fantastic, helped us book the taxis we needed to move around and gave us maps to be able to tour around using the bus. You can control the A/C in the room, which is fantastic in case you get a little cold, for example. There is a bar in case, like us, you get to the hotel a little late, and there’s a small variety of snacks and sandwiches where to choose from. The guy at the bar was so much fun.

To be honest, there’s not a lot of bad things to say. We did need to room to be cleaned early since we had to get ready for a wedding, but by 12:30pm it was still not done (we waited by the pool), we just went back inside and the lady didn’t get there till after 1pm.

Very nice and clean. Good room sizes and bathroom was large . Staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely pool facilities. Restaurant was delicious. Great bar with local wine.

The reception staff were very friendly and lovely but didn’t know enough about the area. I asked about winery tours and they just pointed to brochures which did not work for us. Despite the signs posted up around the pool about not leaving towels and belongings on deck chairs so that others can use them other hotel guests still did this and we couldn’t get a pool chair, we had to lay on the grass. Perhaps the bar staff could enforce the rule.

we were staying in the casa bianca building which felt a bit like Butlins (you’ll know what I mean if you’re a working class lad from the south of England). it was a dark uninspiring wipe clean space. the hotel itself is fine. if all you’re looking for is a quiet clean place to sleep, to get a bit of a tan by the pool and have a beer in the evening after getting back from dinner in sienna then it’s fine. it’s a bit tatty around the edges - the grounds the hotel is on is absolutely huge and there is so much unused space.

the bar situation! the bartender is expected to serve behind the bar, mix drinks, but also take and prepare lunch orders - and there is no table service. it means you can be waiting 15+ minutes to order a drink if there was a food order before you. it’s absolutely mad that the management want to operate a bar like this.

The hotel and it's sorrounding garden were beautiful. You get the feeling you are in an old castle as everything around is spacious, green, and lovely. The breakfast was amazing with delicious croissants, amazing cereals, and plenty of fresh fruit. We loved the view from the terrace where you could have your meal. Everyone from the staff was polite and kind. So overall, it was a great experience.

We were so happy about the pool on our first day and loved the surrounding nature. It's so relaxing. Yet the second day, both me and my friend had a rush that seemed like dermatitis allergy, and we suspect it was from the pool water. So, especially if your skin is sensitive you have to be cautious when using the pool.

Lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers Lots of free parking About a 30 minute walk to the centre of Sienna which is perfect for walking off the pizza & pasta! Gardens and views from the hotel were beautiful Great breakfast with fresh fruit, pancakes, toast, cereal etc. You could easily fill up for the whole day until dinner! There was a lovely waitress who would always check with us at 10am if we wanted anything else from the buffet before taking it all away. LGBTQ+ friendly. Me and my girlfriend felt super comfortable there.

Honestly everything was great! The only things I would say are; The main part of the hotel is very grand and beautiful in a manor-like building. But our room was in a separate building which was not as nice. It was still lovely but our expectations were really high when we pulled into the hotel, thinking we were going to be in the grand manor and we were in a kind of ‘back building’. However I feel bad saying this because the room was still lovely and everything was perfect, but it’s just a small thing. The shower door wasn’t fully sealed so water would leak onto the floor every time we had a shower. Air con was quite loud, but it didn’t bother us too much since it’s more of a white noise.

Noise, being at the front of the hotel we could hear people arrive and leave very late at night. And when the toilet was flushed in the room above us sounded like a flood coming through our room, so woken up alot in the night. Also tea and coffee making facilities in room didn't have any coffee, even though I left a note asking for coffee still didn't get any.

Lovely peaceful hotel within walking distance of town if you are reasonably fit, otherwise you can drive. We ate in the restaurant in both nights, lovely food and very helpful staff. Toiletries were so nice we bought them To take home. Staff at reception are helpful and The ambience of this family run hotel is fantastic. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were epic, similar to the Delaunay. Ample free parking and very quiet and peaceful. Our rooms were in the annex.

Room was a little dark but otherwise nothing

the location, the view. Breakfast offered a wide choice. Room was confortable.

I got poor advice regarding public transport. The information I got were not accurate and I had to find out the right information by asking local people. The day I left there was a taxi drivers strike and I got very limited information about which bus I should take to go to the station. I again had to ask locals at the bus stop. Considering that I was on my own, I think the staff should have made an effort to provide information especially considering that I was carrying a very large suitcase.

The annexe is not as stylish as the main hotel however it was very clean and comfortable. The shower was clean but perhaps needed a bit of work on its presentation. The pool was lovely and clean. Waiter service was missed as you had to go to a small booth for soft drinks only and to the main hotel for alcoholic drinks. Breakfast was nice. The staff were all so lovely and pleasant. Overall a really nice stay

Perfect Italian stately home, beautiful decor. A sense of old grand Tuscany whilst being inviting and cosy. Wonderful staff, going above and beyond to help make our holidays perfect, including bus/train timetables, taxis, booking an evening at the opera and letting us choose check out time. Fantastic pool! The pool gives you the feeling that you’re in your own garden. Very relaxing, helpful lifeguard, refreshments and towels available. Wonderful restaurant for lunch and dinner, beautiful calm, vibrant atmosphere to enjoy food and drinks in the bar and on the terrace. Including beautiful views over looking Sienna. We recommend requesting a deluxe room in the main house!
