Hotel Casa Adele

I’ll start from the beginning of the day where we went to breakfast which was incredible. Food, drinks and everything was delicious and we got top notch service. All staff was nice, mostly asking if you need anything else, or if it’s something which they can help with. At reception we firstly get introduction about Taormina, including recommendation from hotel’s owner, what we can do within our whole stay in Taormina. Hotel is offering great services, like shuttle to beach with great price of sunbaths, wide range of tours around Taormina or Sicily. Every time when we needed some guidance or help there was someone who were happy to help. In the night there’s a beautiful terrace, where you can drink any kind of drinks, shots or whatever from hotel lobby bar. Great for lazy night after whole day at the beach. Or pick one of the restaurant nearby, since hotel is located in the city centre of Taormina. Can’t say anything bad about this hotel, we had amazing stay there. Thank a lot to staff of Hotel Casa Adel.

Excellent breakfast and the breakfast room staff were wonderful.  Close to Corso Umberto which was great.

On the Monday afternoon of our departure, the front desk did not tell us that Catania Airport had been closed all day due to the eruption of mount Etna. We spent €100 and drove one hour by cab all the way to the airport to find out that the airport been closed since Sunday night. I would expect more from the front desk.  We ended up returning to Taormina to a different hotel because there were no hotel rooms available near the airport. This is something that we could’ve avoided if we had been told prior to departing from the hotel.  That way we would not have wasted €200 in cab fares. 

The most amazing stay in Taormina, I would not stay anywhere else. The hotel is a family run property and the hosts are the most lovely people that were able to help with anything with wanted - whether it was transfers from Catania airport (at a reasonable cost), activities to do during our stay (booking us transfers to the beach and organising sun beds) or something as simple as laundry, they were so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is beautiful with lots of options and fresh produce. The rooms are spacious and lovely, even more lovely than the pictures. The location is ideal, being so close to the high street. Great value for money!

nothing…everything was beyond expectations.

We stayed 2 nights, during our honeymoon. Had we known how perfect this hotel stay would be we would have stayed 2 more, and we will do our best to return. Impeccable detail to everything. The owner remodeled the hotel during COVID and must have scrutinized EVERYTHING from the quality of the door key to the lighting, paint, bathroom fixtures... everything. And the breakfast felt like we were staying at the owner's home with excellent food prepared by him and his family. At arrival we were assisted with parking (given the many one-way and tight roads) that immediately told us we were not in your average beach-town hotel. We have traveled the world and cannot recall a better hotel experience. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a terrace where room service promptly brought us Prosecco to enjoy with a stunning view. From 7 days in Rome though 7 days across Sicily, all in very high-end hotels, we did not have a better hotel experience than we had at Hotel Casa Adele

The service by all staff were amazing - by far the best most attentive service I've ever received in a hotel. Very friendly and super helpful reception/ concierge staff, the breakfast staff were very attentive and did their best to cater to our breakfast requests and needs. The hot food cooked to order for each guest was tasty and fresh. The location of the hotel was so central and perfect - so easy to get to the main street and see everything. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated - a perfect boutique hotel.

A little bit pricey compared to other places. That's the only slight fault I can think of, everything else was great.

It’s so lovely and the rooms are impeccable. We had the room with a terrace and that was really special. Breakfast was delicious. We were served organic eggs from the local farm. Learned about the history of the hotel directly from grandson and what sections were original which were really beautiful in the breakfast area. More info on the hotel site. Really it’s so lovely and always someone at reception. Air conditioning in the summer was so refreshing.

Recommend to ask in advance how to get to the property. It’s in a great location whether you take the cable car or taxi etc.

Super friendly staff doing their very best to help. Breakfast is great and great location very close to the historical part of Taormina. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. As a matter of fact the hotel was renovated in 2018 and has been super well maintained since then. Room top terrasse is nice.

We stayed 3 nights. The first night we had a room with a view on the main street so it was a bit noisy. We asked if it was possible to get another room and we had a even nicer room.

A lovely place, spacious and clean room with a nice terrace. Great location just on a few meters from Porta Catania. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh orange juice and bread, a nice variaty. Staff was super nice. Also a lovely rooftoop. Bathtub didn't have a curtain- but it was OK. They have a paid parking - 20EURO per day - very convenient. just book in advence. call the hotel a few mintutes before arrival - if you miss the parking you will have to drive an extra few minutes...

Giuseppe was absolutely fantastic. He made an intentional effort every day to ensure that our experience in Taormina was perfect. What I admire most about him, is the pride he takes in his family business. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was outstanding! Not to mention the location of the hotel is perfect. We could not recommend this hotel enough!
