Absolutely stunning Italian villa in the countryside very close to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius with gorgeous views of the bay. This is an historical estate that the owners have meticulously upgraded with very modern bath / shower facilities and brand-new beds. The owners have created beautiful themed rooms throughout the villa, and their breakfast is delicious (eggs from their own chickens no less)! The owners are extremely helpful and communicative and went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home. They made our stay an absolute pleasure. I cannot recommend this villa and these owners highly enough - I would give them 20 stars if I could.

I liked everything!

The villa is unique and beautiful and is situated with a view of the sea and Vesuvius. The host Antonio and his mother were so nice and very focused on their guests and their satisfaction. The room was beautiful, very large and the AC was great during our 95 degree stay. Breakfast is delicious and very full and served on the terrace with an a wonderful view. Handmade crepes one day, lemon cream croissants another along with fruit, cheeses, meats, eggs, etc. They have an amazing vision for the future of the villa. Ask Antonio anything about the area. The entire villa is enclosed and very secure. Parking is secured in the villa compound in a large area. Also everything you want to see in the area is very close. Pompei, Ercolano ruins, royal palace Caserta, Vesuvius cone, downtown Naples was even very easy to drive to.

Follow the directions Antonio provides in the Booking.com communications or via WhatsApp to avoid a very narrow road that we took the fist time because I did not look at his proactive communication.

What to say…. The best experience of my life… The villa has such a great history and it looks like you are in a dreamy museum. It is located in the countryside of this local and traditional city, it looks like you are in some Al Pacino’s movies. Within few minutes by car we could reach the famous Pompei and Vesuvio and we also went to Capri for the day ( it’s super easy to reach it). The villa is run by the 2 owners, Antonio and Michele, that with their perfect knowledge of the territory and their charisma make us feel at home. Definitely, I need to go back for more days, there is so much to see around. Wooww, me and my sister Anya will never forget this incredible time

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Carafa that truly felt like a home away from home. The authentic beauty of the house combined with the exceptional hospitality of Michele & Giuseppe created a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel like part of the family. The cozy rooms, thoughtful decor, and personal touches added to the overall comfort of the stay. The hosts' genuine care and attention to every detail, along with their delicious homemade breakfast, made this experience truly unforgettable. If you're looking for a place where you can relax, unwind, and feel like you belong, this home is a perfect choice.

The villa was a traditional Italian villa that was restored and put together quite well. Very clean and beautiful room, with a comfortable bed and a very good breakfast. The host has wonderful and also helped us with a map of the city of Naples and safe parking.

We arrived very late and someone waited for us and helped us with directions. But we booked a double deluxe room with sea view, and when we arrived the told us they upgraded us to a better room that has lovely but had no view. Even though we paid extra for the view. We didn't say anything since it was very late.

Run by 2 very hospitable brothers Michele and Antonio from the region. They were amazing and personal with attention to detail. They were available at all times to answer questions and solve issues. We arrived on Easter Monday where there were no taxis available. They were very kind to offer us the transport to ensure our stay was fulfilled and perfect. Excellent service and amenities fulfilled our needs. We were humbled to meet their special grandfather, a true gentleman who looks after the lemon trees with so much love and attention. As Italian as it gets. The stately home itself has been restored to a very high standard with a cultural eclectic feel in keeping with traditional palazzo Italian decor. Our room was perfect for our large family. Exceptionally large rooms with 4 large double beds and the breathtaking view from our front door of Mount Vesuvius. Our beds were comfortable. Great bathrooms with palazzo character. Highly recommend this very special gem for families, friends, or as a romantic getaway. We were a family of 6 and were welcomed with tea and homemade traditional Easter pie which was well received by all. No crumbs left! We will certainly visit this very special gem again- the perfect getaway!

All was perfect- no complaints!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the breakfast terrace was amazing, and the food was good. The ambience in and around the Villa was quite special. The bathroom was quite big, and everything was clean. The owners were doing everything to make our stay and our vacation as pleasant as possible. For example, on days when we left early, we got a packaged breakfast.

The localization of the property is just perfect, close to the highway that gets you an easy way to go everywhere. The Villa is nice, clean , quiet, with beautiful surroundings. Even if we stayed in the smaller room we had plenty of space and had a comfortable 1 week stay. A family business that makes you feel like home! Totally recommend Villa Carafa De Cillis!

The first and most important thing is Antonio, the host is amazing, he made the Vacation be on a different level providing great advices and hospitality which made us feel like visiting a family and not hotel. the Villa is very nice, not too hard to find located exactly with car drive to Sorento ,Amlfy all of Naples attraction , Capri etc. the place is positioned to grow has a lot of potential and i am sure it will only get better and better

Beautiful Authentic with modern facilities. The architecture Art the food the warmth of the family the beauty of the decor, it was not a single thing that I would change. Best experience ever. If they have any openings consider yourself lucky. Boom

Every single thing was excellent. Just need a car or shuttle for transportation. But the villa staff gave us rides and picked us up every day.
