Nest Hotel Matsuyama

The location is very convenient near the main downtown of Matsuyama is (and Okaido street), where many restaurants are. Also walking distance to the castle rope-way. On the 3rd floor there are washing machines, and an ice machine. The room cleaning in the morning was always very quick during the time we went out for breakfast and came back. Also two convenience stores literally 20 seconds outside the hotel.

There's not much not to like for the price/location/cleanliness/convenience of this hotel :) The large single beds are exactly that, so don't expect a queen bed. It's fine if two small/slim persons sharing.

The hotel is very close to the tram, less than 10 minutes' walk. Walking from the hotel can quickly reach the Okaido store street. The check-in went smoothly and the front desk service was very good. The room is very clean and tidy. On the third floor, there are washing machines, dryers, vending machines, and ice makers.

Business hotel, central location. Rooms are small, same as the bathrooms, but clean and with everything what a traveler needs. Our nonsmoking room was quiet and the AC was efficient. Breakfast was buffet style with Japanese food, lot of choice.

The location is perfect near restaurants, shopping and tramway. you can go the the JR station with the tramway in about 15mn.

the bed is really small. The smoking room is really horrible due to the smell of the smoke.

Breakfast was fantastic! The size of the room and bed are kinda small, but it's enough for a short stay. The price definitely makes it worth it! Location is good, but keep in mind it's on a one-way street if you're driving.

The tempura at breakfast didn't taste fresh even when they brought out a new plate. Maybe it was just kept near a heat lamp? Other things were great though! No free parking, but they do give a discount on the parking lot nearby.

Room was bigger than most other ones we've stayed at which was a really nice change. We got a taxi to the hotel as it was raining and noticed there were quite a few taxis parked nearby so very convenient for that.

Check in was easy Staff very polite and friendly, Hotel was exceptional and the breakfast was superb . Perfect location Absolutely brilliant.

There wasn't anything not to like,

Stayed here for the second time after riding the Shimanami Kaido from Matsuyama and Hiroshima. The staff was very nice, so was the good breakfast. They understand that bicycles are the future, as there was a bicycle parking spot (rack) inside the lobby. Also free rental bikes. Definitely deserves a 10!

It is near convenience stores and the shopping district which is convenient.

In terms of food, the in hotel buffet service had limited selections.

parking spaces near by at mostly full at evening or night time. also costly at night time. also hotel is surrounded by too many one way road so take care while driving.
