Flexstay Inn Higashi-Jujo

Apon arriving at the hotel after a very long 15hour flight we were greeted by some very friendly gentlemen who had broken English but was very helpful and kind! Booked us in early too. Gave us an information booklet and WiFi information. We booked a smoking room, as my partner smokes, beware for non smokers it does smell strong but nothing to harsh. Arriving into the room it's smaller than the photos but we was very pleased! We had a bed, it was comfy and could be put away for convenience. Table and chair, sink hob and kettle and fridge. Bath shower and toilet, TV, hair dryer, and any extras you can ask for. Also have a fantastic restaurant next door. The location is right next to a train station, 711 right outside, and a fantastic strip of shops and food stalls up the road! the view was lovely! The price is perfect , you get what you pay for but we were very very happy with our stay!

Nothing! Everything was fantastic. We had nothing bad to experience. Everything was working and completely fine. We enjoyed our stay ☺️ hopefully we will be back again ☺️

Bang for the buck! The price of this hotel is the same to hostels with bunk bed and shared bathroom. Very near Higashi-Jujo station and just 9mins walk going to Jujo Station and Jujo Ginza Market. 30mins train to Shibuya. There’s 7eleven just across the hotel. It has all the amenities (very cold AC, TV, charger, cable extension, refrigerator with ice cube molder, induction stove, electric kettle, hair dryer, full body mirror, closet and hangers, bathrobe and towels, slippers, foldable table and stool, ashtray) except microwave but it is available in the reception/lobby area. There’s shower with bath tub and of course japanese toilet with bidet. All of the faucets have hot and cold water, even the faucet on the sink.

Small room. The room I booked is supposedly for two persons, they even provided two sets of robes and towels. But the space is just enough for one person. I could only lay out on the the floor one medium sized luggage and had to slid the other luggage under the bed so i could have leg space between the sink and the bed. If you’re sensitive to noise and/or smell of the cigarette smoke, then this one is not for you. The sound of the train from outside is not that loud and tolerable for me so I slept like a baby.

Around 2 mins walk to the train station, very convenient, however a bit too far from tourists spots. Room is as advertised with amenities mentioned. Location is peaceful

In my room, the bed is in the middle while the TV, table and other amenities is at the other side, so its hard to navigate inside the room due to the tight space. I have to cross over the bed just to get to the table if I plan to eat and vise versa if I need to go to the toilet 😅. The room is also a bit dusty

The staff and affordability were the best parts, hotel room can get kind of cramped with 2 suitcases but the bed was western style so my feet didn't hang out. The hotel is good as long as you don't mind the ~20 minute travel to the center or if you'll mostly be out of your hotel.

The bathroom was pretty small and the bath was aswell, there was also no foccit in the bathroom so that was kind of inconvenient.

The bed was bigger than expected. It could fit me and my husband weel (My husband is around 95kg and I 56kg). The staff was very kind and helpfull. The location is amazing, the seven11 was in front of the hotel, the train is 1 min walking and it is easy to go to harajuko, shibuya, shinjuku.

I did not like to have to come back to my normal life, the trip to japan was amazing. I do not have any complaing about the hotel. It was really good and very cheap.

Very close to the station, affordable and very clean. It's important to note that rooms were smoking rooms, and they were the only ones available, but when asking staff to clean room and deodorize it BEFORE arriving, it was done perfectly and didn't have to deal with strong smells. Staff was helpful. All amenities were provided as need.

Size was great for single traveler, but might be a little small for a couple. Shower was small as well, but it's to be expected.

I love how close it is to the train stations and 7-Eleven. It made it very convenient during my stay as I mostly took the train from the Juju station.

The tv , I wish there was something I could have watched during my stay. I couldn’t connect to Netflix or anything so I didn’t even use the TV.

I love the location, very quiet neighborhood, very friendly staff, 7/11 right across the street and a Chinese restaurant that opens until midnight 20 meters away

The facilities, can look a little outdated but taking into account the price of the room, you can't really complain

Cleaning optionnal, I would understand if done every 4/5 days. But we stayed for 14 days, without cleaning, this is clearly for economical reasons

Good location right next to the JR Higashi-Jujo station. Really affordable and has all the amenities despite it being a small room

My smoking room also had the smell of smoke and I was not able to change and the smell would not go away even with lots of spraying with deodorant. Note that Tokyo Subway and Metro Day Passes do not work for JR lines.
