Bellevue Park Hotel Riga

All the confort and standing of a 4 stars international branded Hotel, with in plus some advantages i could not find in the old or new Riga center ; - a FREE and available open air easy Parking for my minibus ( in old city , it is 20 or 30 euros / day : in streets when you find one..., or a complicate underground ) - a beautifull and big green Park in front of Hotel : used to live in a green nice suberb close to Versailles, it is really pleasant and relaxing in coming back from a long day of work or visits. - an exceptionnally welcoming and efficient team at Reception, Bar, and Restaurant ( in the center of Riga where i have been many times : well, not always the case...) - 10 real min from old city center, in crossing the bridge by taxi or scooter ( my favorite is Bolt scooter by dry days at end of day to go for dinner in old city ), - a old distric around with a real Soul ; old wooden houses of workers and nice old style houses, becoming trendy with young latvian couples buying old houses to restore them) : don't miss the ambiance of Meza iela ( Meza street) - 4 mn walk - with 5 nice cosy restaurants and Bars, its Pink orthodox church, or the distric of Agenskalns Market ( a outdoor and indoor market, and super food corners and Bar ar first floor) , or the little streets with old houses full of charm , going to "Māras dīķis" lake - try "Zellu iela" - and "liepajas iela" : in fact, all the area ! you will be surprise by the number of green passages, rivers, parks. I have spent more than one month in this hotel... We will definetly come back here in family for a touristic long week end in Riga. really ; Keep enough time to visit not only the old city , but the districts hiding around this good Hotel . Enjoy

Well , if it was really compulsory to find something to avoid torture , i would say ; bigger cups for Tea at Breakfast, please ! but there a "Plan B" dear Collegue Tea lovers : take the bowl for cereals : i did it for one month, even two each morning, and nobody shoot me.

I like weather ;-) , district and very nice park just in-front of the hotel, bus to get to the airport and tram to the city center and attractions ,there is pharmacy very near, little kiosk at the corner where to buy simple things and bus/tram tickets. Spacious hotel and room, very good breakfast, there is kettle in the room, slippers, bathrobes. There is a room with washing machine and drier 24/7 with affordable price, there is restaurant and very friendly staff.

We arrived in the evening and were very tired but there was no welcome bottle of still water in the room :-( , refrigerator didn’t work and was empty too. There was no cotton puds, and this kind of details in the room, no pen surprisingly. We had to buy them next day. There was only sewing kit, shampoo, gel and body lotion. There was no shoehorn.

It’s a clean place with all the facilities needed. Clean spacious rooms, bathroom, fresh towels daily, toiletries, warm radiators and AC. Rich breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, especially one gentleman at the reception and room maids. Free parking. Hassle free location. Almost center but still very quiet district.

What I don’t like is very outdated breakfast salon and furnitures from the 90s. All chairs and tables with stains and sort of grease make breakfast unpleasant. However, the staff is very professional and cleans immediately. The furnitures, dimmed lights and overall poor salon is the the only thing I can complain.

The breakfast at this hotel was great, and my grandmother said it was as good as the breakfast at the Turkey all-inclusive hotel, except for the champagne. The hotel is located in a good location, the old town is easily accessible by public transport or by car. A great park is nearby.

The hotel room, although everything was clean, needs a little improvement. We didn't like having to heat the room with AC. It took us a lot of patience because it didn't work as we wanted, considering we stayed at this hotel during the winter when it was very cold. Eventually, we were able to turn it on ourselves, but every time we wanted to change the settings, we had to make a huge effort. I would recommend replacing the AC system.

Excellent service! At first, we were in a room where our neighbors were very rude, they had an extremely loud party in their room and obviously did not care about how they were disturbing other guests. I went to the reception and the receptionist handled it beautifully. Because it was not 23h00 yet (it was around 21h30), the receptionist explained that they could not do anything according to Latvian law. But she offered us another room, which was quiet. On top of that, it was an upgrade, for free! Thank you for that! Everything else about this hotel was excellent too!

Good price, tram/bus in front of the building (22 to the airport or 1&5 to the center), very clean, free breakfast, free parking, smart TV, a lot of toilet paper, slippers, coffee and tea with kettle in room, warm room, a lot of pillows (3 for each person) At the ground floor you have several shops - such as hair saloon, shop for water/snacks/souvenirs, car rental, etc.

The windows cannot be fully opened, also you could hear the raindrops hitting the window sill, making a very loudy noise, we managed to sleep very hard after 1 hour, the windows are not corectly isolated, you could feel the cold wind coming from the windows. We asked for a king size bed and we recieved two single beds put togheter, I woke up with my shoulder between the space from two beds and with shoulder/hand pain. The shower hose between the wall and the shower cap was broken, a lot of water didn't get in the shower cap so the pressure was low and the water spilt all over the place.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Very big rooms (we took the one with the kitchen). Free parking space for the car. As requested, prepared baby crib in our room. They even gifted a small toy and a no ice for our baby. That was a nice touch 😊

During breakfast there was no staff around, maybe due to another event at the hotel at the same time. Because of this most of the things at the buffer were finished and not renewed. Tables were dirty, as there was no one to clean them. Cups for the coffee were missing.

the staff was very friendly, we accidentally locked our room with a card inside, they helped us get it back without any problems. The lobby was very nicely decorated, the room was clean. Breakwast was delicious and it was a variety to choose from. Free parking is also appreciated.

we asked for double bed, but we got two singles pushed together. towels are coarse and hard. we also order pizza to the room, they brought it not hot and we found some piece of plastic in it.

I have stayed numerous times in hotels of different countries in the Baltics. This time this hotel exceeded all my previous experiences. The hotel was clean, the staff wonderfully helpful, smiling and friendly. Unlike others previous hotels, the breakfast was very rich and delicious, dozens of different products, cold and hot food products, different juices and, even in Finnish terms, good-tasting coffee. The safe parking area at the entrance was an absolute plus! We had 2 rooms in the 9th floor, the view was great especially during sunset.

One evening the parking area was almost full, but the friendly staff member helped us to park our car in the spot we didn't dare to reserve it ourselves.

Good location, free parking, super friendly and profesional staff. Breakfast is great, various. Room was clean, new furniture, comfortable beds, warm and cosy.

I would give this hotel 10, but can’t do that because of: 1. Restaurant. Food from meniu is awfull and overprised. No meal for kids. 2. Hotel has a SPA area with jakuzzi and 2 saunas. We decided to use it. 12€ per person for 1 hour. That area needs to be repaired as soon as possible!!! Ceilings are falling apart, floor tiles are peeling, jakuzzi is broken. Extreemly hot everywhere: water in jakuzzi, saunas, sitting area. All you want to do is take cold shower and go to your room.
