Hotel Elena

The location is good, only 3 blocks from the center and really close to "Candy Street". The Wifi is really great and I was able to do remote working and join calls with no interruptions. The simple rooms are really tiny, but enough if you plan to visit the city during the day and night and use the room for resting and taking a shower.

There was a really bad smell from the bathroom plumbing, we spoke with the manager about that when we were leaving and I hope they will fix it. We had to close the bathroom door so that the room didn't get contaminated by that smell. The bed wasn't so bad, but not good.

The best part of this hotel was the location, the rooms were clean. In my opinion the rooms look bigger in the pictures than in real life, however; my room was very quiet and I was able to rest well. The breakfast was ok, a little small but at least they give fruit and coffee

I wish they had an elevator as my room was on the third floor and is rather difficult to carry the luggage.

beautiful architecture, very clean, nice terrace, basic breakfast but Pilar accommodated us as much as she could with our special requests. Very close to restaurants, shops, pharmacy etc.

If your room is facing the street it can get pretty noisy at night with a night club right across the street.

One guy from the reception is speaking fluent English and was very helpful with bus schedules and so on. Also the rest of the Hotel personal is very friendly! The hotel itself is located in the middle of the center and everything was very clean! I would definitely come back!

The breakfast could be more local. But was nevertheless good. :-)

The lady at reception was extremely helpful, sorted out some laundry for me and gave me very good advice on how to get back to the bus terminal by public transport. Thank you! It was also really nice to have a light breakfast included in the price.

There was a lot of noise from people talking - first a group of women, then 2 men, late at night - of course this is mot the fault of the hotel, but it might be nice to perhaps ask people to be quiet after 23 hours?

location was terrific,staff very accommodating

the noise from the lobby spirals up the staircase so you hear everything so do not take a room at the top of the stairs. we had #4 for one night and they gladly moved us. we also got our laundry done ( 2 weeks worth on a motorcycle) and the hotel quickly called a service for this. hot water was sketchy

Excellent location within walking distance in the Historico Centro. The building and rooms were elegant. There is a nice rooftop terrace along with a tasty breakfast. The room provided a good night sleep with minimal noise and comfortable beds and pillows. There was a fan in the room to help keep the room cool.

Poor air circulation in the room and it felt warm.

Location is very good - just few block from Zocalo. Lots of food places and nice shops in the area. Great staff on the hotel - friendly and helpful. Hotel is old and charming. We did enjoy our stay.

Great location, nice decoration and terrace looking over the city. Rooms were clean and recently refurbished.

Bed was a bit small and there is a lot of noise from the street in the morning.

Right in the Centro histórico closed to everything

Too much noise there is a club right in front and music all night. Could not get a good night sleep
