The location was excellent - inside the medina but on the outskirts, so easily accessible from the road. I loved the room - very authentic, clean, spacious, and daily cleaning of my room. The staff members were all lovely, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I'd definitely stay here again if I returned to Tangier. Less than 1 minute walk to restaurants, cafes, shopping in the medina. A 5 minute walk to Grand Socco where the taxi hub is located, and this is the hub for main activity in this part of the city. I never needed to wait more than a minute for a taxi to appear and there is a bank on Grand Socco, near to the gate of the medina. Staff also gave me a map and recommendations for local attractions & restaurants. Quiet room despite being situated in a bustling medina. Less than 30 seconds to the main square inside the medina (Petite Socco). Good breakfast on the rooftop with fantastic views. Dar Yasmine is an excellent base for day trips around Tangier too, for example, Asilah and Larache, which are accessible by public transport (Asilah by train & Larache by bus). I loved my stay at Dar Yasmine

The staff were nice and helpful. The room was small but we expected that. The bathroom was nice although one of those showers where you will get water everywhere. The location is great for exploring Tangier. The rooftop is nice and breakfast was ok. No real complaints other than the longer than usual call to prayer next door. We are used to the call to prayer and usually find it almost soothing but this was the longest one I've ever heard and it occurs every single morning about 20 minutes before sunrise. It lasted between 15 and 20 minutes every day. The timing wouldn't be so bad except breakfast doesn't start until 8am and nothing else is really open early in the morning, It is also right next door so it is very loud.

Loved the location despite the mosque next door. We were made aware of it from the start and soon get used to the calls. Whole place was super clean and the daily cleaning appreciated. Complimentary water also a nice touch. Staff was good with recommendations and directions for bank, restaurants etc. Roof deck for breakfast and just for the view are worth mentioning. Breakfast had lots of choice, really liked the fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Good hot water and pressure in the shower. Would go back again

Bathroom was a bit small but not a big deal. Could use a shelf for toothbrushes etc Also an extra blanket but was likely available if I had asked. No control for heat or cooling that I could see. Bed a bit hard for my personal preference.

we stayed just one night, location was perfect although initially hard to find as its tucked away and you'll get directed by the shop owners who then keep expecting you to come in to buy something, which can get a bit annoying, there's being helpful for the sake of it and being helpful with the expectation that you must buy something from them. initially i didn't feel the staff member that greeted us was friendly but i'm sure they are sick of tourists in and out daily, she wasn't rude just not a friendly welcome like most places we stayed, this does make you feel unwelcome though, so wouldn't stay again sorry.

its small with no windows and as all room face into the centre of the riad where you can hear all noise from all doors opening and stairs etc but it wasn't a problem as we only stayed one night.

The location was very easy to access, right at the start of the medina from Bab El Barsa. The hosts were amazing, always ready to help and available for any needs. The decor is very nice, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Also this is one of the few Riads I have stayed in that has a dustbin in the room.

The heating of the room. the room became very very hot middle of the night. We opened the window to ventilate, otherwise it would be too hot. Possibly it could be turned off/down if we asked, but we did not want to do that at 3 AM. If there could be a vent shutter to block/reduce the air, it would be better.

Enjoyed the adhans throughout the day and Adhkar (loud remembrances) - comes part and parcel of its excellent location. The older gentleman was one of the most pleasant people to deal with, very warm and welcoming. Rooms were clean, aircon was working and stay was comfortable to organise the trip. Breakfast was nice with fresh orange juice and croissants. Location was excellent to see the local culture, to try some local food and desserts.

Everything was quite good. There are small things, such as the shower being open so water would go from there to the main bathroom area quite easily. There also was limited water at breakfast. Also please note there is no lift, however the gentleman was kind enough to help us with our luggages up to our rooms (though we had to take them down ourselves).

A lovely venue, very clean and well kept, with attention to detail and a lovely look and feel. Bedrooms were great and nicely proportioned and the bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. The breakfast was fine with authentic moroccan food as well as more traditional 'continental' style breakfast. Not too much choice, but absolutely fine. All the staff were also lovely and attentive across the whole of our stay.

Not much not to like. It genuinely a very sweet place to stay and we would have no problem recommending it and will definitely be returning. As it is located right next to the mosque, be ready for the morning call to prayer, pre-sunrise and sunrise. Fine if you are happy to immerse yourself in the culture, not so much if you are a poor sleeper and struggle to get back to sleep.

The location is great and the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. It is spotlessly clean and the breakfast was good. They were able to organise a transfer from the airport at a reasonable rate. Overall, i would highly recommend it.

There is nothing to really criticise about the hotel. The only downside was being woken up at 5.30 for the call to prayer from the nearby grand mosque, but then what else would you expect in a Muslim country. Thankfully, we were able to get back to sleep after it.

Very well located inside the medina. Small terrace to see the view. The room is comfortable. Simple breakfast. 10 min away from Tangier Ville port. Nice staff!

I do think price is a bit high for what you get. That’s the main thing. You can definitely get waken up at night by the prayer call from the mosque 20 mts away.. but there are signs warning you of this throughout the hotel. And honestly it’s not really that big of a deal… just something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. We had a nice time here

The location is very convenient - easy walking distance to the ferry terminal and the Kasbah. The staff was very helpful. Helped us to arrange a day trip to the Caves of Hercules and the small port city of Asilah. Also provided restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was excellent. The pictures in the list are very accurate. The place was very clean and well maintained.

The location is very close to the mosque and the wakeup prayer call can be quite loud. But we were always able to fall back asleep.
