H3 Hotel Rotterdam City Center

H3 is very well located, on a central street packed with restaurants and drawing a colourful merry young crowd every evening. All must-see locations are at a walkable distance or reachable by public transport, with a tram stop and a metro station nearby. A decent supermarket is next door. The rooms are quite small and minimalistically furnished but comfortable.

The lift in the hotel, while available, is out of order. It must absolutely be fixed! The place is quite noisy until after midnight (it was ok with me as I am an owl but may be a problem for some). Finally, while a notice at the reception reads that the rooms are not cleaned because of the pandemic, they are. So on my first day I left my passport and two banking cards out only to find my room cleaned in the evening. I would have hidden them if I had known someone would be in. I raised the matter with the on-duty receptionist and she assured me I have nothing to worry about.

Dangerously cold rooms 18-19°, make absolutely sure you wear layers during the night. The AC is broken The windows are very thin, they let in freezing cold air and noise (we basically thought they were open but they're just very thin) Bring earplugs if noise bothers you.

The location is great, the staff is very nice and helpful, they have storage for your luggage in case that you need to check in earlier or check out…just across the hotel is public garage where you can park car. Rooms are nice, comfortable and clean.

I didn’t like that there is no elevator so you have to carry heavy suitcases and luggage on the stairs.

location very good, supermarkets and tram station very close, too easy to reach by the train station, the staff was 24hours there which helped a lot and they were very polite, super clean and renovated inside so I would definitely recommend it

the bad thing was the wifi which was super slow for laptop (for mobile it was ok) and the air ventilator which worked all night and didn't allow me to sleep that well but still it was not a big issue. Perhaps talking to the reception could have helped to make it stop

Location is safe and perfect. Super close to stores, restaurants, public transportation. Large window with sufficient sunlight. The staff were also helpful

Sometimes it can get quite noisy since it's right in the centre, understandably but something you should be aware of. The room and bathroom was well organized but floor wasn't properly cleaned; could see some dirt and hair strands

Very clean, modern, stylish, nice staff, very good location. There are a lot of bars at the street, so there naturally is some noise, but it didn‘t bother me. My room (single bed) was very small, but the big windows made it feel bigger. The shower was also very big and nice. If I come back to Rotterdam, I will definitely stay here again!

I would have wished for a kettle in the room, since there is no breakfast, but the staff offered to boil some water for me by the reception. There are also no coat hangers or glasses, not even for the toothbrushes, but that‘s maybe because of covid.

Good location,clean and sizeable rooms with good facilities.

As much as I understand the reasoning of a deposit the €50 euro deposit which I wasn’t Aware of till check in meant it was 50 euro I could’ve spent during the stay whilst now I’ve gone home with it

Brand new hotel. All facilities are non-touched and modern. No need to put hanger outside the door for housekeeping request. Just touch on the screen in your room yes or no and they will see it outside. Rooms have big windows and lot of light coming in. Of course there are curtains for your nice sleep. Location is not bearable- heart of Rotterdam. COVID-19 restrictions did not give them to run restaurant and unfortunately there is no meal now but you can make online order to your room. Staff is very friendly . Thanks for hospitality!

The room was very clean and seemed to be quite new. The girl at the reception was lovely and already created a nice friendly impression from the beginning. The bathroom was impeccable and exceeded my expectations, considering the price.

I stayed overnight only for business purpose, so I cannot complain about anything. The bed in the individual room is really small and quite hard though. It was not an issue for me as I am short, but for some people it might be a dealbreaker.
