Touchwood Motor Lodge

I loved the feel of home it provided, beds were comfy, 2 toilets, soft carpet under foot was beautiful, our children asked if we could take the house home with us 😆 great cost we had 6 of us and still had space for one more in the hotel room, it's hard to find good cheap accomodations that sleep 6-7 people, this place definitely ticks that box.

I wished the separate toilet was downstairs to accompany the bed and living that is downstairs, And the neighbors I could hear talking through the wall, it wasn't loud but wish there was more sound proving between the units. But those were really a nit pick of complaints, I will definitely recommend them and if I go back to that area of Auckland I will stay there again that's for sure.

Beds were comfortable very good location not far to travel for supermarket or restraunts to get some dinner. Staff were very friendly and I would diffently stay there again and would recommend to anyone. Loved the wide range of channels that you could get as not many hotel these days have all the sky channells usually only some.

Parking was abit restrictive and the shower could use a good cleaning. Television was abit small but I guess it was ok.

We have stayed multiple times. It's in a great location, the staff are amazingly helpful, friendly and nothing is a problem with a smile. The rooms are clean, are of generous sizes, have air conditioning, sky that actually works, wifi, and stand alone showers not ones over a bath ( although we have also had a unit with a spa bath and seperate shower) Also own decent sized carpark included

Lovely all round! Great location, two min walk from the new world and easy 10min walk to the main town shops. Tidy room, comfy beds, fabulous pressure shower. Nice little things like hand towels folded into envelopes with body wash inside, cookies with tea/coffee stand. Straightforward check-in and out. Best value for money

Close to all attractions and activities. Will stay again sometime in the future.

Car park numbering on the left-hand side fence could have been better highlighted as the check in advised us to park close to the fence. But did not advise which side of the carpark. number 6 carpark was. Hence, we parked in the wrong spot.

The motel was convenient for us. Large studio room for 3 - there was plenty of space for us. Extra parking on lawn was organised for our extra vehicle which was good.

Not a biggy but the smell of the spray used in the room after servicing was quite strong.

Great room, huge bathroom, lots of space and storage. Friendly staff and great price.

I know the doors self locked but I would’ve felt more comfortable being able to put a chain on the door/deadbolt etc.

Excellent little find. Room was huge and spotlessly clean and obviously very well maintained. We only stayed for one night so didn't use all of the facilities but can see that everything has been provided to make a stay comfortable.

Nothing the hotel can do about the noisy traffic on the main road

Awesome location, staff left you alone. We only stayed one night but it was an awesome night. Loved having the sky TV to watch sport. Was beautiful weather so the mosquitoes came for a visit at night so make sure to close it up and use the Aircon if your hot.. Lesson learned the hard way

Askd for a room with easy access as in plaster and using crutches, and were allocated room for disabled, and it was well organised, spacious and very comfortable. Also late check-in which was kindly facilitated. This was our 4th visit, and we'll be back!
