The Glebe Apartments

I liked everything about this apartment. The location was awesome, the apartment was very spacious, very well equipped, warm, comfortable and a great design. We were travelling in 2 cars so were able to get free parking within the complex for both cars. We had a 2 small children with us and it was very safe for them within the unit and there was a big internal courtyard which we would have used in summer.

The first room we were given was disappointing as it faced a construction site and the road. There was no private outdoor area and only had access to the common courtyard which has no view. After saying we were disappointed the receptionist, Levi, spoke to his Manager and we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom penthouse. The penthouse was fabulous with great views of the lake and remarkables. There were 2 outdoor balconies. The apartments are a short walking distance to the main Queenstown shops and restaurants.

See above. The distance up to the hotel and reception is only a short distance from the main road but it is extremely steep. A person with a disability or any mobility issues would struggle. They would have to drive into the car park and get the lift.

The location was great, so close to the main centre of Queenstown, being a few minutes walk. I have stayed at The Glebe a few times including at the Penthouse many years ago and other units within the Glebe. It is so handy to everything and the one bedroom apartment I stayed in this time was clean and comfortable. I was cold with only one small heater but once I mentioned it to Reception they obliged with two more heaters so it was nice and toasty! Being on my own, it seemed a very safe space.

The car parks were a bit tight but I guess not much can be done about that. I was just pleased to actually have one.

Large apartment with lake view was exactly what we needed for a relaxing family get-together. Everything was pretty high-end so felt like a real treat.

While we were advised of roadworks beforehand we had no notification of noisy and intrusive building works very close to our apartment. A real shame considering this was a top-end option in top-end accommodation. (Flats further away would be less affected.) Weirdly, the motion activated lights in external corridors were placed directly outside bedroom windows: these were bright enough to wake most of us up several times despite the window blinds. These sound like nit-picky points but did take the shine off an otherwise high-scoring stay.

The apartment was huge, perfect for the kids to play and adults to hang out without getting under each other's feet. Great views, and the location was awesome... 2 minutes walk to town. Even though it was on a busy street, the apartment was really quiet! It was super warm, and having 3 bathrooms was amazing. The parking was also fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend the Glebe apartments to anyone looking for family-friendly accommodation in queenstown!

Even though it was midwinter, the apartment was a little too on the warm side. We turned off the 2 panel heaters and the heated towel rails, but it was still too warm. Just a small thing, couldn't fault anything else!

Great location as everything we needed or where ever we had to be was within walking distance. The staff were amazing and so accomodating with accepting our food delivery and placing it in our apartment prior to our arrival.

The under floor heating at one stage was too high for the males in our family and after making some minor adjustments we got the temperature to a more suitable level, but we were unable to return it to its original temperature once the weather cooled

The property was easy to find - very central to town & spacious. Car parking was free & situated right under the property with easy access to room via lift. Kitchen & Laundry were great & had everything you could need especially helpful with a long stay & kids. Loungeroom & dining space were large. Beds were super comfy & good sized. The property was quiet, no noise from neighbours, street etc. The staff were all lovely to deal with.

The property needs aircon ! While its understandable during a winter stay, the warmth of the rooms would be lovely - during our stay we had some 30+ degree days & trying to sleep was uncomfortable. The room had small portable fans provided however they were loud & just blew the hot air around.

Excellent location,only a short stroll into town Fantastic for kids ,we had 3apartments adjoined to the courtyard ,so kids were able to play in secured courtyard and family had easy access to each other .We felt extremely comfortable and relaxed in the apartments 3bedroom Apartment even though on roadside was fantastic , even though with the warmer temp one room was a little stuffy . Apartment was well appointed and had no complaints at all

Great location and the apartment had all the facilities you need. The staff are excellent. There was construction at the back of the property so they upgraded me to bigger apartment so I didn’t need to worry about the noise.

Looking a little tired but I think they reflect that in the price. The Glebe is good value for money. Unfortunately there was no exterior windows to the bedroom but good for a sleep in.

The location was excellent. Great to have fully equipped kitchen and deck with furniture. Bedrooms were nice and dark with good drapes. Easy parking.

The aircon units provided were not really suitable. Ceiling fans were good but really the apartment needs proper aircon. Was very very hot. Wifi was basically non-existent. Couldn't use it as it was too slow, ended up hot spotting or using phone data
