Radisson Blu Hotel, Muscat

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The location was great as it is next door to my niece’s language school. I liked the buffet breakfast, although I think you need 2 coffee machines. I really liked the relaxing pool area as it had plenty of seats with shade. I also I slept well even though my room had a view of the pool and the freeway…..I was pleasantly surprised that noise wasn’t a problem.

Nothing the Radisson can do about, but I didn’t like that you couldn’t walk anywhere without risking your life. I was terrified watching my niece cross the road! I might contact the Omani government to ask them to install some pedestrian crossings.

Over all we had a plesent stay in this hotel, reception was nice an friendly, room was enough big with all facility inside what you need, a kettle tee coffee water, room was cleaned every day, hotel has a nice outdoor pool, sport jym, breakfast was really good and plenty of chose.

several things to mention room furnitures was quite outdated and some concerns about the safety in the hotel it seem that everyone can easily enter in to hotel, there were no room card needed in the elevator to get to different flore, but maybe there is something what you don't see.

A high class hotel, great breakfasts (pastries were amazing) with good variety, nice facilities (the pool is very clean and temperature controlled, very good for this climate). There is also gym and spa, as well as different gastronomical and entertainment events avaliable. Easy taxi access from the lobby (hotel has its own taxi parking) which is crucial for Oman if you have no car of your own.

Impossible to live here if you intend to travel by foot or public transport, there is almost no crosswalks so you are forced to jaywalk (not hotels problem, more like country's problem). However, hotel is located in a way that to actually find a crosswalk to get to the closest stores and shops you need to walk for a long time. The cleaning service is surprisingly clingy (had to ask to not clean my room three times in a single day). Same can be said for the vendor on the ground floor, very clingy if he notices you checking out any goods.

We came here for holidays and we can say that this place exceeded our expectations! Very nice and clean swimming pool, food was amazing, staff friendly. Room met our expectations. Everything was clean. Gym very nice and massages very recommended. Very nice to spend an evening outside with nice weather and drinks.

Not the best coffee machine as staff had to clean it all the time so it often didnt work. Scrambled eggs were quite dry. Food at the hotel was quite expensive in comparision with food outside of the hotel, but on the other hand it was always delicious!

+ Very friendly and helpful staff + Breakfast offers everything one could need and there are many restaurants/supermarkets around for lunch & dinner (the smokey grill & chill in the hotel offers great Indian food) + The pool was great to relax from time to time + Good location to reach the mosque, the airport, the corniche, the sultan's palace and other sights by taxi + Fair price for what it offered

Only minor things: - The room service could have been a bit more reliable - The water pressure of the shower was quite low

We loved it here. Great location to visit Muscat and really nice and warm swimmingpool.

The stuff was really nice, but the frist day on our arrival the lady at the reception spoke so quietly that it was impossibile to understand what she was saying. We spent one whole day at the swimming pool but we didn’t know that you cak order food there, there is no sign or anything. We just discovered later in tha afternoon, it would have been great to have a menu on the tables and a super flyer in the room with all the service s offered. Anyways, it was a great stay.

Socialable kind of place - with guests and staff. Excellent food, especially good choice at breakfast. Poolside very pleasant with gardens. Room of high quality - well equipped. Relaxed vibes.

Muscat is not a compact city and many of the hotels are spread out along the main 6 lane highways... stretching from airport to old town/harbour. Makes it a bit difficult to explore or even find a local neighbourhood or get to the beach but this is so probably for many hotels in town, and not the 'fault' of the Rad Blu.

As usual we saw good service and polite staff at Radisson Blu. This is why we are Radisson member and will come back to Radisson Blu again. The staff are very friendly. Easy checking. The photos on the website do not do any justice to the rooms, the rooms are a lot bigger and very comfortable. The breakfast that is on offer is amazing with a whole ray of choices. Very nice pool area and the Lazy Lizard bar that opens at 5 pm around the pool is magical, had a very good evening. Will defiantly be back and this is one of the best Raddison Blu hotels we have stayed in. Thank you to the Raddison Blu team for making our stay memorable.

There is nothing not to like everything was amazing

The hotel is very stylish. They welcomed us with complimentary water flavoured wiith lemon and frankincense. The pool is big enough and surrounded by foliage. The loungers were comfortable and the swimmimg-pool staff were very attentive. The room was a nice size and very comfortable. The staff are exceptional, from the managers to the cleaners They went out of their way to make our stay really special. I wouldn't mind living in this hotel permanently!
