Hotel Coral Suites

Facilities, location and Staff were great. Close to Super Mercado and pickup points for day trips. Will stay here again when I return. Pool was great after a long, warm day.

Certainly not of real concern, but for those who are used to renting rooms with kitchenettes or apartments, you will need to bring everything. Nothing is provided. Just an FYI.

Location is good close to everything the supper market, the train station and shopping around the area, the receptionists were very pleasant and try to assist in any way necessary the night receptionists that was on duty when we checked in she is much more fluent in English and very very pleasant. The manager, Mr Omar Nùñez was very helpful with the problem, and I applaud him. My husband was happy with how he dealt with the situation, being a manager himself of a diamond property back home, for the maids, I am not sure what to say, put that all aside. I had a beautiful time there, and my family loved it. It's a clean, lovely small hotel. You can cook and make breakfast for yourself, and that is good for persons who don't want salty food.

The water wasn't hot, and I called reception more than once, also I personally believe that when you have the do not disturb sign on the room no one should enter that room without permission that's my only real disappointment, I also think that the sauce pans need changing they're a little scratch up, and I didn't have a frying pan, so purchase a sauce pan and something to fry in they were cheap

Staff was very efficient and helpful. The entire facility was very clean and daily this was maintained. The room was spacious with a good sized balcony. The location was fantastic!! It is close to many restaurants, minimarts and bread shops. The food is great and very affordable. It is five minutes walk from the metro and the cost of taxis to major shopping areas is very affordable. Persons are on the street enjoying the amenities until very late, even with children which shows confidence in the area. We felt very comfortable in the area.

Be prepared for the scent and appearance of garbage on the road around the hotel. We found that this was typical in several other areas in Panama City. Unfortunately there needs to be a national push in favour of garbage disposal and changes in garbage collection.

Nice hotel with everything you need. The bed is really comfortable. It has a big room with a kitchen, which was really nice. We could even check-in almost 3 hours early and for 25$ we were offered a late check-out (5pm). The lady at the receptionist, who offered us the early check-in (I am sorry I do not remember her name) was so lovely and nice and made us feel really welcoming.

Internet was a bit slow, but we barely used it. I do not understand all the comments complaining about the furniture being outdated. Even if it is a bit outdated, everything was functional, everything was comfortable and clean and you could see that all the furniture were custom made out of good materials, so to leave such comments just because something isnt "new" I do not understand.

Spacious, quiet and comfortable room, nice swimming pool and gym on the roof, also used the laundry machines. Good wifi, nice kitchen and nice table for working. Short walking distance to town restaurants and supermarket. Cleaning service every day. Great hot water. We stayed 5 nights, cooked every day and liked it.

Minor issues. Only one window which is not big compared to the room. No sponge and liquid to wash the dishes. As others wrote, the hotel is a bit old but it didnt bother us. Some things made noises in the room like the fan in the bathroom which you cannot turn off, the fridge, the bed. Also the first day we didnt get a hand towel.

What I like about the property the rooms are comfortable and spacious the only thing was a smell other than that the room was perfect will stay again. The hotel is very quiet you will get plenty of rest they don’t have a balcony to get a better view go to the roof top you can get a better view. It also have a pool, exercise room, laundry room, and the rooms have Netflix, stove, refrigerator, microwave, restaurants and super markets are near by. If you need transportation taxes are all around nothing bad to say about Coral Suites the best. Oh the shower was hot.

Didn’t know how to speak Spanish but it was a couple of people their that new how to speak some English. I think a hot tub would’ve been nice. They don’t serve breakfast.

I am a Hilton & Marriott stay person but I didn't pick this found gem of a place. Coral Suites. The Staff was wonderful and attentive, all day. Smiles and offerings at every turn never intrusive but always there if we needed anything. The Rooms were clean and comfortable the AC was flawless. The location was unexpected but all popular hotels were there, we enjoyed all.of the flavor of the area. There was a food court next door that was wonderful. The Rooftop pool provided a refreshing private return from a hot sticky day and we all loved it.

We should have done better with the language, I regret having to make all.of those nice people deal with our sad attempts to make them understand us.

All the staff were super friendly, and helpful. I was able to move rooms because 404 was noisy at night. 507 was wonderful and silent. Was also given free late check out as my flight was evening. The pool on the roof is great with fab views, plenty of seating but not enough loungers. The location is perfect to get around very central, supermarket and subway in walking distance but uber ro all attractions and the aiport very cheap. TV has Netflix which is a bonus. Spacious room and kitchenette. Gym is a bonus and has a enough equipment for a short work out. Hotel was great value for money. I'd definitely return.

Unfortunately the pillows are terrible all lumps. The maid was able to bring me a good newer one. Also would be nice to have memory foam top on the matress as it was a little hard for my preference. Would be great of there was.more loungers, by the pool too.

Building condition was not as good as previous stays 2 and 4 years ago

I spent almost a month at Coral Suites as I was in Panama for work. The room was perfect for me, spacious and comfortable with a well-functioning wifi-connection, a work space and a practical little kitchen. It would have worked perfect for a couple as well. I used the gym and the pool, and was very happy with both. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to stores, restaurants and the Iglesia del Carmen metro stop. Staff was helpful and very nice. If ever in Panama City again, I'll certainly stay at Coral Suites again!
