Universal Boutique Hotel

Location was good and the morning breakfast was pretty exceptional considering we are off-season travelers. The rooftop room was what set the visit apart for us, great time having a drink at night on the private roof patio! And decent pricing too :).

Carpet/room a little worn, but almost perfect and again -great value for our stay. Would recommend this hotel and location to others to enjoy!

The location was excellent. The room was a great size with ample wardrobe space and and a really size balcony.

Check in was a very poor experience, not very pleasant or welcoming. 4 clothes hangers in wardrobe for 2 people for a week. Room service wa ls okay, usually dirty cups/glasses left over or 1 towel instead of 2. Nespresso machine in room with 2 capsules but €1 extra if any additional required. No spoons/sugar. Asked at reception for ironing board and was given a doll size ironing board for the floor that was broken.

It was such an amazing and delightful hotel. The decoration and spaces are brand new and clean. The receptionists were always so nice and helpful with us during all the process. I requested the romantic package and everything was prepared in a so lovely way. About the breakfast, it was very good, include gluten free / lactose options and the parking is near to the hotel. Nothing at all

The location and stuff was really good. The hotel design is also really attractive. The room terrace was really big with good view.

The size of the room was quite big, but according the fact that it was in a attic floor the real size was much smaller than it might look at first sight. Also the mattress was really hard and it doesn’t helped to sleep well. The breakfast was not what you could expect from the 4* hotel.

Exceptional place to stay. The room was nice and big, bathroom has lovely shower. Much love to details in the whole property. Great breakfast for a reasonable price. The crew is very friendly and helpful to handle all the requests.

The fridge didn't work as expected and the minibar was not filled. It only worked while using the room.

A really well run hotel with exceptional customer focus. Lovely lounge bar area and very centrally located.

Our room was great but only had a high narrow external window and an internal window onto a public area - was not a problem for us but others might want to know ahead of staying

It is a very chic hotel, well designed and decorated. You feel something different in the good sense.

It was a deception for me the breakfast, very poor and nothing different from a 2 star hotel. I have been here before and I remember a more enjoyable experience, maybe it is the same... Anyway, breakfast time should be something special and both products and quality must be higher than average in this kind of hotel. If the property wants to know more about my opinion, please contact me. Regarding the parking, it is a handicap as well, but at least it is expected.

The room was very spacious and the balcony amazed us with the ocean views. It is wonderful to spend a weekend by the sea. The hotel is very near the restaurant area in Figueira da Foz, the Forte and Farol.

The only thing was the room temperature. It was quite high in the night when we arrived because of the sun light during the day, but nothing like opening the window or adjusting the thermostat wouldn't fix.

Tastefully decorated with modern fittings. The staff in particular Miguel were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for visiting the best restaurants in Figueira. Parking was available right next to the hotel.

We loved the location, only 2 blocks to the beach! We had an amazing roof top room with a large balcony that offered a slight view of the beach. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We could only do takeaway so they set a table for us in the bar area so we didn't have to dine in our room. When we checked out and arrived to our next destination we discovered we had left behind our laptop charger. They were so gracious and concerned and did not hesitate one second and shipped it to our final destination for us.
