The best hidden hotels in Singapore To be honest, I usually don't like to write reviews about hotels or restaurants, but this time is different due to the exceptional service provided by Nina, the receptionist at Hotel 81 Rocor. She always assisted me wholeheartedly by providing travel advice and patiently guiding me on how to use the MRT or Bus. In addition to the excellent service, the location of the hotel is also superb as it is very close to the Rocor MRT and Bus station. Thank you also for maintaining the cleanliness of our room. Hopefully, we can meet again in the near future. "Terimakasih Banyak Nina"

My wife and I travelled to Singapore for Medical review. We have been visiting Singapore for the last 13 years and over 90% of the time we booked in to this hotel. Hotel 81 Rochor was located a walking distance away from Raffles Hospital. Apart from the Hospital, other services like the metro and shopping centers were located just a walking distance including little India, Mustaffa, Bugis, junction, sim lim, etc...

All amenities excellent except the TV channel not showing CNN, CNA etc,,

Location is close to Rochor MRT station about 200 metres away. About 500 metres away Komala Villas South Indian restaurant is there,one can get good vegetarian options. Little india MRT/ Jalan Besar MRT / Bugis MRT all are about 300 to 500 metres away from the hotel.

Rooms are very small, no fridge,no cupboard. If you have more luggage it's very difficult to keep your suitcase. Covered from everywhere, no day lights are visible, one could not make out it's day or night. It seems slightly overpriced.

Location was quite good. Near Rochor MRT station and good access to shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helped us when required.

Room was not completely cleaned, although sheets and towels provided were clean. The facilities are old and need a thorough cleaning. Water for drinking was provided in small bottles and only one bottle per person was provided in the room. Even a common tap where bottles can be refilled would be a great convenience. We had to buy water bottles at supermarkets unnecessarily.

The hotel staff was excellent. We stayed here for three days. We used to request for room-cleaning while we were outside. On our return, we got clean rooms and washrooms. Although the rooms are pretty small, the entire property is well-managed. Also, the MRT station was quite close to the hotel.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is good, near the bus stop, Mustafa mall, has convenience store beside the hotel and lots of Indian foods to try around. Also walking distance from Bugis market/mall and St,. Lourdes Church.

I hope there will be closets or cabinets available.

My wife and I came for medical review at Raffles Hospital which was located less than 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. In addition little India, Musafa, OG , Sim Lim and Bugis street and MRT station are all located in a walking distance making the hotel locared in a most ideal location for us.

The hotel was better than what we expected. Mostly because we got the hotel at a good deal and also our expectations were low. But it did have most facilities we wanted. It's really close to Rochor MRT station which made all our city travel a breeze. Would stay again for the value for money, Indian food outlets nearby and also for the ease of access.

Small rooms and can't open windows too.

The hotel was next to the Rochor MRT Station. It was also a walking distance to Bugis so moving around was easier. Surprisingly, the hotel staff replaces the towels daily which I appreciate very much.

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel. Although installing a bidet perhaps would be good too. I don't expect everyone to be fond of using bidet but I would personally prefer.

Location is great, easy access to everything and it's affordable. Our flight is late at night but check out was 11am. They allowed us to leave our bags at the reception so we can keep looking around and came back later to get our things.

Rooms are small.
