Yaas Hotel Dakar Almadies

Staff was super friendly. Property was clean throughout.

The AC does not go below 21 and the sunlight goes through the window. I barely slept. Should invest in binds that guests can use to completely block off sunlight. Not sure if I was doing it correctly, but even lowered to 10 the AC never went below 21.

Its my favourite hotel in dakar I stayed in every time i come

The towels looks are not changed for long time The breakfast is not like before and it's the same every day

nice location, nice small and clean room

the room did not have any wardrobe; no place to hang clothes; could easily hear the noise from the people talking in the corridor. the room had one double bed with two bank beds (I was alone) not sure how that many people’s luggages will fit in that small room.

Staff were amazing and the proximity to a number of coffee places and restaurants was great. The location is also great to have a jog in the morning. Very safe

Allowed early check in for a reasonable charge.

One staff member didn’t confirm the booking of my shuttle for 3am. I had to follow up to make sure it was confirmed but once it was confirmed everything went smoothly

Really helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good internet for business travelers. Nice location in the Almadies. I have staid at this hotel a couple of times and these are the things I appreciate the most.

Perhaps a little bit more variety in the breakfast, as it used to be in the past. It is also a pity the hotel is not in charge of their own transfer service to the airport anymore, as it was a good value for money. The new service is offered by a company, which does not always send good drivers.

I visited the hotel many times before They did some changes this time ; like putting kettle with tea and coffee on the room The breakfast is changed also Staff is friendly and helpful as usual

Same menu of breakfast every day. . Water was cut off ( but i called them few minutes then was opened) No toilet reinser ( big problem)

The location was great. Safe. Rooms are clean.Great especially if you are traveling alone. I loved the breakfast too. If you are claustrophobic the idea of the windows not opening maybe an issue for you. There is no fridge or coffee tea facilities but the restaurant is well stocked and kept my drinks in their fridge.

No fridge in the room or tea or coffee facilities. The windows not opening also made you feel you never got fresh air in.

The windows in the rooms do not open and the aircon becomes too much. Even in the foyer- the smell changes because of the aircon.

Breakfast is grest. Lots of variety of foods to pick from. Great location - closeness to major spots and attractions. Excellent staff, very eager to assist. Overall, a great place!

I didn't like the fact that it was expensive, and yet still had to alnost pay for everything you use - movie, milk for tea, etc. There is also no in-room provision for tea in this hotel, neither are adjourning doors for families that are split, for better supervision of minors.
