Bled Rose Hotel

Excellent location overlooking the lake, church and castle and only a few steps from the bus station. We had booked a larger room to accommodate 3 adults, which it did easily. Staff were kind, efficient and welcoming. We were upgraded to a superior room with lake-view balcony, which we appreciated (despite the rain at the time!) as the view was fabulous. The room was large with a main bed, pull-out bed, plus desk and chaise longue. Large and well-appointed bathroom too with walk-in shower and double sink. Lovely indoor pool, with an outdoor hot-tub, and indoor saunas (no costumes allowed....) and a cold plunge pool. There are robes in the room to use when visiting the pool. There was also a small gym and some treatment rooms for massages etc. Large breakfast spread and eaten in a lovely spacious dining area overlooking the lakeshore. Everything was very clean and orderly. We really enjoyed our stay at Bled Rose and hopefully will be back one day.

I think the 'no costumes' rule in the saunas may put a few people off using them.

Receptionists and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very rich and family friendly. Location is unbelievable - in front of the lake, next to the church and Bled Castle; a walk away from the restaurants, gondola boats and Straza park; up to 1 hr drive from key sites.

This hotel is a gem - very modern with whimsical touches all around - but they also cover all the basics very well. Comfortable bed, clean modern bathroom (yes it's small, but it's Europe!), in room safe, small wardrobe. The staff is friendly and helpful - they made us a wonderful dinner reservation at Sova. The location is excellent, right near the lake and central commercial district but far enough from both to be quiet and relaxed. The breakfast buffet is excellent!

The pool area was just so-so, and the hot tub was more a warm-tub (not even 100 degrees F), but we didn't come here for the pool! Everything else was fantastic.

This hotel is in a great location. The reception team are very helpful polite and give you a warm welcome. The rooms are very clean the decor is beautiful beds are very comfortable. Breakfast there is a good choice of food. There is also a lovely indoor swimming pool which is a great place to relax.

I really don't understand the way this hotel is going breakfast time very load music playing and I mean loud with a DJ at the weekends. They now also have nightly entertainment for non guests which they use part of the restaurant this is also on some nights in the week so you cannot have a quiet meal. I would never eat in the restaurant on these nights It's so sad because it's a beautiful hotel and they are now turning it into a nightclub it would be okay if they had another room which was soundproof.

The hotel was modern, clean and sophisticated close to the lake. The staff was very kind, attentive and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and of good quality. The room was well equipped and clean and this is true for the wellness area too. Overall everything was very tidy.

Nicely renovated modern **** hotel in the centre of Bled with amazing exterior and interior design, well equipped and spacious pool area, VIP SPA section, spacious tastefully furnished and decorated suite with balcony, breath taking panorama to the lake and the hills. Excellent hotel and catering service and very friendly and helpful hotel staff. I can recommend with a good heart to travellers demanding high standard hotel & catering services as well as a perfect location, inhouse spa & wellness, and fine dining in the hotel restaurant.

Chime of bells from the church next to the hotel rather noiseful in the morning :)

This is a lovely hotel. It is smaller than I expected which was a plus as I thought it was going to be large and impersonal. I really liked the decor, especially the wall of flowers, perfect for photos and some of the unusual art. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning which is a great location, close to the lake. The breakfast was a banquet of choice and had something for everyone. It was lovely to be able to walk straight down to the lake from the hotel. The swimming pool area is a great place to relax and we had massages which were amazing - proper Thai style. Our rooms all had balconies looking out towards the lake. They were bijou but with nice decor and had everything you needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a great place to stay.

I couldn't believe that I hopped off the bus and there was the Bled Rose Hotel right in front of me! It feels very luxe from the moment you enter - the staff were attentive and helpful, the common areas are beautifully designed and maintained, the room I had was enormous too. Very new, clean, well designed, lots of creature comforts, a very comfortable bed, and a really nice bathroom. The view from the balcony was exceptional, and the restaurant/bar also features an incredible view of the castle, the lake and the St. Martina church.

The only downfall is being right next to the church means there's an obnoxious amount of bell-ringing at all hours, sometimes for 15-30mins at a time. But, what is Europe without the constant tolling of church bells?

We loved the Bled Rose hotel. We had a lake view superior room, very nice and spacious.

Exceptional choices for breakfast, and being able to sit outside to enjoy it was a real pleasure. The location of the hotel is excellent The hotel is modern, classy, and is very clean.

The overpowering aroma of air freshener in the communal areas. It was just too much for me and really caught the back of the throat. Bar closes before 10pm?? Never come across this in a hotel in my life before. Screens with glitzy promo videos showing models posing around the place.
