Goodstay Andong Park Hotel

The hotel has its old charm. The room decoration and furniture are decently chic, but a little bit shabby. I liked the bed - high and hard mattress. There were many additional useful things in the room, such as toiletries, various charging ports, napkins, even hair styling mousse, etc. My purpose of visting Andong was Mask Dance Festival. The hotel is located within walking distance of the festival venues.

This is not a complaint at all, but just a statement of fact. It was a surprise that the train station next to the hotel is no longer operational. The surrounding area of the hotel looks abandoned. There was no bath-curtain in the bathroom.

The room size! It was enormous, very comfortable. The beds had hard matresses but we like them that way so we slept well. The receptionist gave as a map with bus schedule and near interesting places - very practical! We would have a huge problem without this schedule. Be aware that buses are often late, sometimes run once per hour and finish service early. We could refill our bottles in the reception with fresh cold water. Hotel is a little old, but location and size made up for that for us.

Lots of amenities in the room… even hairspray! Rooms were comfortable with a seating area also. Location approx 5 minutes walk from Food Street.

The outside could look a bit better (the adjoining buildings were untidy which reflects badly for the hotel) but the room was perfectly fine.

The staff was welcoming and professional. The facility is overall clean and well-maintained. Convenient location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Good value for money.

Cleaning team is strict and came in early during my stay (10 AM). The hotel is old-fashioned despite being clean. The beds are somewhat hard.

The location is great. And the host at the reception is very nice. They give us a little map with things to go and see.

The beds were hard. I had to look if it was a mattress or a table where I was sleeping.

The man at the front desk was very personable and helpful, and he had excellent English which was a great help! The hotel was only a 5 minute walk to the Mask Festival and a 15 minute walk to the river.

The tub backed up into the bathroom floor on the first day which was a bit unappealing.

A nice room, bigger than the standard, equipped with more than you should need. The man at the reception was lovely, very helpful and eager to be friendly while respecting your privacy

The hotel is in a very central location. The room was nice and big, with a clean shower with bathtub shower. Check in/out process was easy. Reception man was very helpful showing where to eat and how to get the bus to Hahoe Village.

- floor heating system which could be not deactivated

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable and I was happy that the room we booked had two options for bedding.
